Must have!
I recently sold my newer car for an older model. I wasn’t sure how not having a screen would affect me. It did, horribly. I bought this to try out and I will never go back. This is absolutely amazing! It is different having it connected through blue tooth due to a tiny 2 second delay. But I loved it so much I bought it for all of my vehicles. It is soo easy to connect and doesn’t cut out like my factory one did. I love it!

The best product!!
I bought this product for my mother-in-law, and she absolutely loved it! Her car has a screen, but it didn’t have the option for CarPlay to connect her phone. This is nice but was of no use to me. It’s basically just a screen and camera for your car, but my car has a screen and backup camera. I actually couldn’t even figure out how to get it connected but I gave up because I don’t need it.

Easy to set up!
I should have bought this Buonaldea Car Play system sooner! It was a breeze to set up and brought my 2007 Silverado up to my son’s standards for road trips. He loves the ability to sync it with his iphone for music and videos and I love the navigation and backup camera which makes hitching a trailer much easier! Get this and you won’t be disappointed.

Easy and affordable
My car’s stereo’s screen broke and this is the easiest and cheapest alternative. Works just as described, no wires to deal with. I found that the aux cable works best than radio. No siriusxm or radio, just Bluetooth. The navigation looks great!

Cheap and Effective Carplay
I drive a 2013 Chevy Malibu, which doesn’t come with a screen or a rear-view camera. Since I often go on road trips, I was looking for an affordable CarPlay system that could provide navigation, access to YouTube Music, and a rear-view camera. My car only has an FM radio, which can get boring, and using my phone for everything drains the battery quickly. After some research, I found a budget-friendly CarPlay system that impressed me. Screen is nice. Works great for gps, music and most apps. Only gave 4 stars due to its tendency to not connect all the time. Have to keep rebooting the system and checking my Bluetooth on my phone to make sure it is connected. Love all the apps I can use on it, since my Toyota doesn’t work with my android system.

Just what I needed
My husbands truck wasn’t equipped with auto car play so when I came across this, I wanted to try it. It works perfectly! The screen is the perfect size so it’s not taking up a lot of space or impacting his driving view. The touch screen works perfectly! Also, when you set it up, if you don’t have the aux option for your radio, you can easily switch the audio output option to FM radio & dial your radio to the same channel & it works great! That’s what we had to do in order to get it to play out of the radio. The power works great, he just unplugs it each time he gets out of his truck. It was very easy to install as the instructions covered everything up to questions you may have as well. We love this device and with him being a roofer & going to new houses, it allows him to easily use his GPS without looking at his phone for directions. We recommend!!

This isn’t just a portable car stereo. It’s also a GPS, a direct connection to your messaging apps, a game tablet when you are stopped in traffic. If anyone tries to play a game loaded on the tablet while driving, it tells you that you can’t play and drive. It’s actually a pretty smart safety feature. It also comes with a backup camera that you can see on the screen. It’s a pretty nice find and would be great to have for road trips. I bought this device to specifically get rid of my fm transmitter that I could only Bluetooth to a single statin with and if I wanted different channel I had to reprogram the entire thing which is obnoxious but it had a backup cam which is awesome; it would be even better if it also had highway cam but it doesn’t. Great safety addition
My daughter is a new driver and her car doesn’t have a backup camera or Bluetooth to connect her phone. This was the perfect solution to both problems. It connects seamlessly to her iPhone so she can use Apple CarPlay. She can use the GPS while playing her music right on the screen. And the backup camera works great, the image is bright (we installed it at night and there were no issues in picture quality.)

Small and works well
I needed another one (less expensive) then the built in dashcam. They are very much alike.Software: very simple in settings, not many options.Screen: size is smaller and bright. Sometimes too bright at night time. This doesn’t have an easy way to dim it.Speed: the system speed is good, there is no delays when pressing buttons. It functions the same as my built in AA in my other car.Audio: I like the variety of methods of audio. For my old car, I don’t have Bluetooth or Aux in, so the built in FM transmitter is pretty good. Just note that all FM depends on the station you use and the nearby FM stations. I used Aux for this car and it sounds great.Mounts: two options of the arm and flat plate. For my car, it has a lot of rounded areas, so I had to use the arm extended. The arm is super sticky. I recommend putting it within easy to reach.

Great gift!
We bought this for my husband’s brother in law. My husband liked it so much that he wanted one but his car was not compatible as it needed to have the aux connection and his car doesn’t have it (I took a picture of the cable so you can check if your car has it).But it was actually good for his brother in law, and they installed it pretty quick, so it was not hard to understand.I also took a picture comparing its size to his iPhone 15 pro. So it has a good size.The set up was pretty modern, it looks like new technology. And for that price it is a great gift and useful, specially if you work following a gps, then this would be better than your phone.I think it is an excellent upgrade to any car and would be very appreciated as a gift or for personal use.

Great product, easy to install and use! Only wish it had an anti glare screen!
Awesome product, lots of cool features, easy to install and use, but won’t let you use a different power cord, which means, you can’t plug in a charger for your phone or anything else. It’s obviously geared towards older vehicles, which don’t have a touchscreen, or a way to access your GPS and/or music, from your phone. Also, the rear camera is a great addition, but you have to figure out how to mount it on your license plate, and some vehicles don’t have a way to run the cable from the inside of the car, to the outside.Bottom line: It’s a great, very versatile product, cleverly designed, but it’s hard to see in daylight (glare), and can’t be powered by anything else but their provided power cord, which unless you have more than one cigarette lighter outlet, you can’t plug in anything else.

Modified for Moped/Motorcycle use.
You cannot use just any charging cable, it’s either the one it comes with or….. Anything that is usbA to usbC. You cannot use a C to C. To have C on both ends there needs to be an adapter that puts A somewhere in between. The unit doesn’t send the signal for it’s power requirements for C and will never start.Modified for scooter use, used the ball mount from a cellphone mount, also took the unit apart and used a rivet to keep the units mount from sliding off. And water sealed it from the inside.False advertisement of Bluetooth audio out. It’s either Aux or 3.5. if you use a motorcycle your phone will still stream to your helmet itself via Bluetooth while still having wireless car play/android auto.

Great deal
Was looking to buy a head unit with CarPlay to use in my older vehicle and stumbled upon this. Decided to try this out before paying a bunch of money and tearing up my vehicles radio. The ease of setup and quality of the touchscreen surprised me and for the last three weeks have been super impressed. I’ve decided that the FM transmitter and aux cable suffice and saved a ton of money by using this. Two things I wish were possible would be that once my car is turned off it would also stop drawing power (but this might be a car function) and the second thing would be lowering the brightness down even more as having it on while night driving is kind of a distraction as the lowest brightness is still pretty bright.

Great for a gift – looks really expensive but is a rock bottom price.
And under $40, it’s crazy how cheap this is. I bought it for a gift and it looks much more expensive. The box did come a bit crushed because it was shipped it a padded envelope and not a box which was upsetting, but that was Amazon’s fault and not the manufacturer’s. I am concerned that even though this has a high rating from buyers, it is listed as a “frequently returned item” and many reviewers said that theirs did not work. To me this indicates poor quality control with a high defective rate in manufacturing. So it’s really luck of the draw if you get a working one or not. The good news is, you are buying from Amazon so you can return it if it doesn’t work, but I therefore recommend trying it out before the return window closes, to make sure you weren’t one of the unlucky ones who got a dud.

An affordable way to upgrade to carplay without having to take apart original structure.
I have a Ford Fusion and the screen recently stopped working and it was an older screen with not many functions but this product was so easy to use and add to my dash board and allowed me to use apple carplay which I couldn’t use after my screen died. I was also able to have a backup camera again with easy set up. The quality was very nice and looked very professional for a good price. The screen was clear and durable.

Great On A Budget, But With Some Annoying Flaws
TLDR; this is an outstanding choice if you’re on a budget, but there’s a reason it’s not as good as just replacing your car stereo.PROS:- Very clear and vibrant screen, and reasonably (though not perfectly) touch responsive.- Relatively easy to set up, and connects quickly to my phone each time.- The adhesive is one of the strongest I’ve ever dealt with! If your dash (or wherever you mount it) is clean when you apply it, this thing won’t budge unless you pry it off with a butter knife.- The mount is sturdy and the cigarette power adapter has more wire than you’ll ever need, so you can easily hide it behind the molding.CONS:- You can only adjust the “pan” of the mount (meaning, whether it points left, right, or straight back) BEFORE you mount it to the dash. There’s a screw that’s only accessible from the very bottom of the mount, and if you don’t hand-tighen it all the way down, the whole unit will shake like a bobblehead whenever you hit a bump. So I highly recommend setting it in the ideal position, tightening the screw, THEN mounting the adhesive. Poor design!- No automatic brightness control, so you’ll either be blinded at night, barely able to see it during the day, or frequently going into the main menu to adjust brightness manually. For a device that shipped in 2023 and was meant for a car’s dashboard, this seems like a major oversight to save pennies on their production overhead.- No Bluetooth out, which means if your car doesn’t have an aux jack, you’re stuck using the FM transmitter – which works fine, but if you care about audio quality, you’ll be annoyed that you spent this much money on something that sounds like it came from Five Below. Of course, you could use the unit’s built-in speaker instead, but just… don’t.- Similarly, if your car automatically pulls audio from your iPhone’s USB when it’s plugged in, there’s no way to disable that. You SHOULD be able to just set your car’s stereo to USB, and then use the CarPlay display just for visuals and controls – but I suppose that it depends on the car. Probably a good idea to test it before you throw the packaging away if you’re worried about it – or just charge through a USB port that doesn’t draw audio.- This might seem obvious, but these external units CANNOT take steering wheel commands unless your phone is also hooked up to your car’s stereo. Obviously, the volume control will still work, but voice commands, track skip, answer / hang up calls, etc. will all have to be done either from your phone or the CarPlay screen.Overall, if none of the Cons bother you (or if they’re worth saving $$$ compared to replacing the whole radio), this unit comes highly recommended. But be ready to spend some time figuring out the best way to make it work for your vehicle, and getting used to it.

Everyone says not to buy a car without CarPlay since once you go CarPlay, you can never go back. This thing is awesome for someone with an older vehicle or decided not to spend the money on CarPlay. Pimp your ride
I bought this to install in my old Prius… So now it has full functionality of Android Auto, music and voice via Bluetooth and all this for the price of a Bluetooth speaker. It was very easy to install. If the multimedia in your car is also old, then I definitely recommend buying it.

Very nice equipment and technology wow
Easy to set up.Only took 10mins to set up and I love the fact it comes straight on as I start the car with my music. Does everything you want it to and looks great . I like the way can use Bluetooth . Screen works really well and only needs a light touch . Fantastic value for money.Would definitely recommend. Loved the packaging makes it look good value and had clear instructions.

CarPlay works great
I’ve seen a lot of these out there and wanted to try it. The packaging came nicely put together. The screen is nice and clean and when set up, actually looks great. The apple car play connects right up with no issues. The map and navigation looks clear and bright in the car. I didn’t notice any lag with the gps or signal. I tried the mirroring capability and that took a minute to hookup because it’s on a WiFi signal rather than Bluetooth. But once hooked up, it worked. I had to remind myself it’s not an ultra 4k screen but the picture does come through. Depending what your use is for, I myself don’t need it for movies but more for the car play features.For the price it’s worth it.

Works great.
He was packaged well everything was secured and safe, I like the fact that this can be used I would say virtually any vehicle. Also the portability of it is that I could use it in one car and easily transported in another car if I needed to. If I was to buy a regular car stereo I can only use it in one vehicle. This unit works just as well if not actually better than the one I have in one of my other vehicles. This unit also has the ability for me to stream what is on my phone directly to the screen like pictures or even movies, but make sure you don’t use it while you’re driving that would not be safe. If someone was to ask if this was a good buy, I would say yes 100%
