You get what you paid for
This is a very good example of the saying “You get what you paid for”. I don’t really mean this in a negative way either. For the price of $7.99, at the time of this review, it certainly is a decent product. My expectation at this price is:- less than quality materials used- since it’s cheap material, the towel ring should be super light (hallow feeling)As expected, the material felt cheap and it was super light. Being light may sound like a pro, but I’m not referring to just the weight. It’s like the difference in holding one of those “included” tools for box furnitures vs a tool you buy at a home improvement store.I ordered 4 of these. I opened 2 and decided to return it. Here’s why:1. the build quality is inconsistent – of the two I opened, the first ring was very loose on the hinge. I’m not sure what the norm feel is supposed to be, but the second one was the complete opposite – the second ring was insanely tight compared to the first one. I can position the ring parallel to the floor and still hold 2 hand towels. Again… I don’t know what the norm is, but obviously one of the two is defective2. the ring is not symmetrical, relative to the hinge. – the first ring seemed fine. Like, if you’re looking at it straight in front of it, you can’t notice anything off – the second ring, if looking straight at it, the ring was leaning a bit to the left. Like, the ring was ever so slightly taking an oval shape.I didn’t bother opening the other two because I didn’t want to play the lottery game of replacements. I don’t know if other more expensive name brands (e.g. Moen, Delta, etc…) are also like this, but the ring isn’t a ring. It’s a straight piece that was made round and either ends just plug into the hinge. The ends are not welded together or even really glued in any sense. It’s just pressure fitted in to the hinge with a rubber gasket that holds the ends together. This explains why such inconsistency in the built quality (like loose or tight hinge) and being non-symmetrical (not being a closed loop, it’s easier to lose its shape). I realized this when I accidentally, and very easily, pulled out one end off the hinge.With all that said, let’s remember this is like $8. If you look at home improvement store websites or even on Amazon for a name brand, you can see real quick how expensive it can get. For the price of one name brand towel ring (give or take), I was able to buy 4 of these. If you are not OCD crazy, then these are perfectly fine. The included hardware seemed good enough as well.Keep in mind, the more important factor in buying a more or less quality accessory for any room is matching the quality of what’s already there. If you have a old home bathroom, paying $20-$30 per hanging accessories (towel rack, hand towel ring/hanger, toliet paper holder, etc…) may stand out too much. On the other hand, if you’ve had your bathroom renovated or it’s a relatively new house, while the color may match the surroundings, a cheaper set like this isn’t doing you much justice.I had my bathroom renovated couple years ago and had new accessories installed at the time. The hand towel hanger, a hook form factor, looks great but is terrible at its one job… holding a towel. Idk what brand it is, but holding it next to this ring hanger makes it very obvious which is cheaper (the ring, of course). The good news about this experience is that I can affirmatively say I much prefer the ring look over the hook. So, I’ll probably end up spending 4 times the amount buying 4 pieces again, but from a home improvement store/name brand. Worst case, if paying more money doesn’t equate to better quality, I’ll take my chances again for cheap Amazon ones.

Heavy duty feel, affordable price
This item looks and feels high quality. It is heavy duty, sleek, and visually appealing. The package comes with everything you need to install (minus a drill), and only take a few minutes! Before purchasing this, I was content with keeping hand towels folded on the sink countertop. However, now that I have this installed, I could never go back! This frees up room on our small counter space and also allows the hand towel to dry more quickly. All while looking expensive/high quality.I would recommend this product!

The ring is soo pretty, I love it! We previously had a peel and stick hook that didn’t look the best, but this was SO easy to install (it took about five minutes). And the quality?? So good! Looking at it, you’d think it was expensive, but it’s such a great price. The bold matte black looks really nice against the white wall 😍

Nice product for the price but check the screw location before installing!
The product was packaged well and felt like a quality product. As I was installing it I realized the set screw was not centered. I had already drilled my holes but I was able to adjust the position of the bracket so the set screw could be secured. I installed this on a board so it worked, it if I had been installing on drywall I would’ve had a huge mess on my hands.Check your product thoroughly BEFORE installing. I contacted the company and they promptly refunded my money so they get 5 stars for customer service!

Love the look
They look great in the space and are functional without being bulky, which was the goal. They were kind of a pain to get on the wall but that’s just the nature of having to drill holes and put in anchors. At least I know they’ll stay compared to adhesive ones.

It does what it’s supposed to….
For 8$ (as the time of review) you can’t beat the price. I got a package of 2 and the instal was easy for both but I will echo what another review stated… neither of the rings are symmetrical, relative to the hinge. If your looking straight at them, they are fine, but if you look at them from the side, the rings turn in slightly to the left. I’m hesitent to try to bend them around too much as I don’t want to damage the hinge. Also the hex screw that locks them into the bracket are silver so that’s kind of a bummer. Right now, neither issue is killing my OCD, but just aware.

This towel holder is great. Installation was easy. It came with all needed screws and hardware. The size is perfect for hand towels and it’s strong and sturdy. It feels well-made and not cheap or flimsy. It does rotate a little to allow the towel to be put on and come off easy. It’s working out great so far. My only complaint is (and it’s so small) is that the screw to secure the holder to the piece that is on the wall is silver and it would just look nicer if it was black because it kind of stands out against the color of the holder itself. Not a deal breaker but it would look better that way

It’s a $7 dollar towel ring, what do you expect?
I was replacing my 20 year old high end towel ring which was coming loose in daughters bathroom most likely from abuse. I was tired of tightening it each time she complained. We had a solid ring heavy metal most likely upgrade when house was built. This ring is hollow and lightweight. Attaching it to wall was fairly simple and you can feel it’s attached pretty tight. Only time will tell if it comes loose. The area where ring attaches to the bar seems a little flimsy. That’s the close up area I took a picture of. It wobbles a little. I would have like to have a tighter smoother fit at that point but it won’t affect the functionality of the ring. Some of you might want a ring that moves freely from the bar that attaches to the wall. The part that attaches to the wall is firm though and that’s what more important. For $7 bucks it will do the job. It looks pretty and looks more modern so it’s ok.

Not much to say here. It’s a towel rack. It goes on the wall and holds a hand towel. Towels don’t usually weigh much but we’ve had zero issues. The hardware it comes with worked perfectly for our wall. The color and style matches our bathroom. Would recommend if this is your style. Easy to install within minutes, if that long.

Looks Nice and functions once you get good anchors
This product was exactly what I expected except the drywall anchors don’t work. It seems the anchors are too big for the screws so they pull right out of the wall. Typically the screw would cause the anchor to expand thus keeping it in the drywall better. But the anchor and screw combo that came with this item don’t work that way. Easy fix with some drywall anchors I had on hand but kind of annoying to have to reinstall.

Missing Hardware
I did receive both of the towel rings, but it only came with hardware to install one of them, I luckily have additional screws and anchors, but for those who may not, be sure to purchase some ahead of time just in case you are stuck without the required hardware as well!

Product not centered correctly
Didn’t realize until after mounting that the item was not centered correctly. I made sure I mounted it evenly and the hoop is still off centered. You can’t really tell once a towel is hung, but for the price and quality of the item it is a good towel ring.
