Worked good!
I ordered the 4 pack a week before I left on vacation. The reason was I had 3 flights in 1 day and one transfer was to a small 30 passenger plane, so I really needed to know where my luggage was. 3 of the 4 I ordered worked. I contacted Amazon and they shipped me another 4 pack to resolve my problem. They arrived the day before I left and everything worked great. I had no trouble keeping track of my luggage on the 6 different planes that I needed to transfer to.Had I ordered from any where else I would have been in bad shape.

Adds a Dimension to my Galaxy Phone and Galaxy Smart Watch!
Love that Samsung has come up with trackers that can be used with my Galaxy smart watch and cellphone! Would be nice if they were also available in a slim version for certain applications, but happy with what they offer and easy to attach to keyrings, etc.

Mostly accurate
Mostly accurate but at times I’ve had a notification that my dog [use on collar] was streets away when he was really right next to me. Take with a grain of salt.

Useful for tracking bags when travelling
Was using the Tile Pro (2022) and when I switched to the Samsung Smart Tag2, I was impressed with the location info provided. It was able to use other devices to get an estimate of the tag location. This was not possible on the Tile Pro. Recommended!

Samsung SmartTag2: Never Lose Track of Your Belongings Again!
The Samsung SmartTag2 is a fantastic solution for keeping track of my essentials! This 4-pack comes in sleek black and white, and the Bluetooth + UWB technology makes finding my items a breeze. With an IP67 rating, they’re water and dust resistant, so I don’t have to worry about damage. The 1.5-year battery life is impressive, ensuring they stay powered for a long time. The companion app is user-friendly and makes locating items quick and efficient. If you’re looking for a reliable tracking solution, these SmartTags are a must-have. Highly recommend!

Limited functionality but near best in its class
First thing to understand is that these are not like full gps trackers or location devices. They rely on nearby samsung phones to give the user usable tracking function. As long as you expect it to be in a region where samsung phones are common, youll be fine. Ive used it to track my luggage traveling internationally, and keep one in my car.Ive noticed the one in the car loses battery fast, probably from temperature fluctuations, which is why it loses a star.I bought the 4 pack and dont regret it

Works close or far
I bought these trackers in case one of our kids slipped away when we visited Disney. My biggest worry was that it was limited to being within Bluetooth range, but this turned out to not be an issue. The tracker will connect to any Samsung phone within Bluetooth range, so you can see it’s location on a map from anywhere. A few days into our trip, our son lost his shoe (which had the tracker attached) and we didn’t realize it until we were already back at our hotel. I am now over 1000 miles away and can see that it was thrown in the garbage and is at the Orlando landfill. I do wish someone had found it and scanned it, as we have “Missing” mode turned on, but the prices on these are reasonable enough that I don’t feel it was a huge loss. It would be kind of cool if it had a feature where it notified the nearby Samsung phones that there was a missing device nearby, but I can also see how that might be problematic. My only complaint is that I have yet to figure out how to use the AI mode to visually find the trackers. Also, the set up options can be a little confusing, but not impossible. If these features were a little easier to use, this would definitely be a 5 star item.

Not great but not bad
I’ve ordered 2 sets. First set was purchased after a vehicle was stolen and thankfully returned. Between commercial, church, & personal vehicles we needed 7 tags. The extra I’m using while kindergarten daughter is on field trips for peace of mind.First set all vehicles are just sitting. Not moving. Tracking was perfect. Waited few weeks and ordered the second set. This set has 2 vehicles that does move. 1 not often. The one that does move daily the tracking isn’t the best. I thought there wouldn’t be a issue since when we are in it we are connected to the vehicle via Bluetooth so it would pretty much always track. But it doesn’t. Many times even after waiting the 5 minutes waiting for device/vehicle to be located it can’t be located.

These Rock!
They feel pristine. They seem quiet, but the frequency is actually enough to hear them in moderate noise evironments. So for less than 20 dollars each these are totally worth it. They connect when you are near them and have made finding my lossables so easy. They connect up to 40 – 50ft for me, but have some issues at those distances on the smartthings app. Get these for your items, or even your kids if you go to large events. You’ll never lose them as long as they are attached.

Forgetfulness
I have only had this for two weeks, so cannot comment on the longevity of the battery however the other features work great. The Smart Tag does provide a status of the battery via the Smart Things app and am assuming will notify me when the battery needs to be replaced.I attached one of the Smart Tags to my keychain as I have recently discovered that I unconsciously lay them down and an unable to locate them. The tags synced quickly to my Samsung Phone via the “Samsung Smart Things” app and are easily accessible for use. I like the feature of being to send a tone via the phone app to locate my keys and also to be able to send a phone from the Smart Tag to locate my phone. The option to rename the Smart Tags also helps (e.g. Smart Tag 1 or Key Tag etc.) so as to not become confused with the remaining Tags. I also like the “Notify when left behind” feature just in case I happen to leave the keys at a restaurant or other establishments. I did not turn on the said features for the remaining Smart Tags as I have reserved them for my luggage and are currently sitting in my nightstand. The Tags are a little thick and make my keychain a little bulky but am willing to overlook this in light of the benefits afforded by the product. Great product to keep track of your valuables.

Works fairly well
I bought these to go in my luggage in case they were lost. They linked to my Galaxy S22 Ultra fine and show up under the built in Device Control, Smart Things. The location of the tags only updates occasionally, maybe to save battery life and when it’s in Bluetooth range. I’m satisfied.

I use these for our family dogs as collar trackers. We use them in conjunction with collar friendly cases. They are durable and easy to set up. The only bad part is that they are a bit chunky and the batteries don’t last that long.

Put in luggage for trip
It only took the airline losing our bags one time years ago for me to resort to this trick. We did not want to risk it on our international vacation that our bags wouldn’t come with us. It worked like a charm.Overall I like the app although it was a little intimidating at first. You can give each one a different name (so our suitcases… my big, his medium, etc). You can also use an audible alert to find them and/or it will show you a location on a map. It will even lead you to it if needed.I love the piece of mind we have with them. We are contemplating putting one on the parents car key ring as they are getting older.

A great peace-of-mind tool for travel
We bought the set of 4 smart-tag 2 trackers after having lost luggage on trip a few months ago. We attached 2 of the trackers to our keys and finding them around the house – which happens more than we would like to admit – was a breeze. We then tested their ability to track luggage on a recent trip. We inserted a trackers in our bags and gave them appropriate labels. Our outbound trip of two legs, went smoothly. We used the app to see that our luggage was first separated from us, and then close by before the plane took off. On our way back on an international flight, our plane was delayed almost an hour and we only had 90 minutes of layover – leaving us 30 minutes to collect our bags, go through customs and re-check our bags. We barely made it to our plane. But when I checked the app, it showed one of the bags was still near the point where we re-checked it. Needless to say, the bag didn’t make it to our final destination. When we landed, as soon as I turned my phone off airplane mode, I got a message indicating our bag had not made it. Sure enough, the app showed the bag still at origin airport. There was a later flight to our destination and by the next day, our bag showed at the destination airport. It was nice knowing with confirmation where our bag was, even though it was separated from us. Nice job, Samsung.

Amazing!!
I wish I had bought these sooner. Love them. Just did a trip to Greece and Turkey and knew where everything was. At Dulles Airport they kept telling me my bags were there. I kept telling them they were still in Turkey. And yes, they were still in Turkey. It was amazing to be able to track them back home to Tampa including the driver heading to my house from the airport when everything finally arrived.

Thanks to Samsung tag 2 I was able to track my vehicle and get it back from theives.
I’m grateful for the technology. I was able to get my vehicle back from thieves. That took my car for a joy ride in the middle of the night. Then I called the idiot sleeping in the morning in the car. Call the cops they got arrested. So this is awesome technology that you can hide anywhere and it can literally save your car well worth the price.

Great! (With 1 exception.)
Had these in behind the fabric of 2 suitcases, and under the padding of 2 gun cases flying across the US. I knew were 3 were every time i opened the Smartthings app. Something to be cautious of is, the signal didn’t like to go through my metal pistol case and it was very difficult to get that one to update on the map. Overall we’re very happy and will keep using these for other things now that we’re home from vacation.

Valuable travel insurance
I had purchased some much cheaper Konohan tags, but they were difficult to set up and with limited features. I then ordered four of the Galaxy Smart tag2 and could not be more pleased. I installed the Galaxy Smart Things app on my phone, and after pulling out the little battery protector tab from one tag it recognized the phone and almost installed itself. I installed one tag at a time and after the first had installed I tried the next three one at a time, giving each a different name. When I opened the “Find” app that appeared where the Smart Things had been installed, a map with the location of the tabs opened. I could click on the tag image to select each tag separately. I had also purchased and installed the protective cover for each tab. The app easily found a tag inside a drawer in another room after it beeped continuously. I plan to put a tag inside each bag on our next trip. The replaceable batteries are supposed to last 500 days, but that will have to wait to determine.

It works as discribed
Where I live must have alot of samsung phones, since I always get a update on my tracker in the car. Short Range finder option works (trying to use the realtime tracker I learned to be patient and not move to fast). I love the double press for phone to beep option, already used it once to find my phone. If I’m missing my phone I can find it with my keys and vice versa, if I’m missing my phone and keys, I can find them using my smart watch, If I’m missing my smart watch/phone/keys I can use my laptop/tablet, If I’m missing all of those things, I can use my Alexa, if I’m missing all of that, I got seriously robbed.I got a protective case and used one as my keychain and works great, sometimes the button gets pressed in my pocket, but not often enough to be annoying (Happened once in the last week). My Galaxy Watch 7 can make the tag beep and adjust volume only as of 20240925I’ve seen online someone using the camera on there phone to show a visual of where the device is, but my S24 Ultra SmartThings App does not do that. It shows a circle and shows my distance with an arrow pointing where to go, nowhere as cool as the videos I have seen. I’m guessing they were using an app or setting I’m not aware of or that feature was removed.

I forget constantly and these tags are wonderful! Works very well with Samsung products via the smart things interface and I really like that it can be programmed to run automations with just a few steps. It’s very accurate as far as determining location. Very easy to use. No issues with connectivity. Long battery life. It definitely is built to withstand environmental conditions. Solid purchase.

Global tracking
These worked way better than I anticipated. My mom often travels for a month+ at a time and she’s not overly tech savvy so we’ll often go weeks without hearing from her. This round, we all agreed to put this Samsung Tag on her and it was a game changer. We were able to track her real time globally, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to call her in areas we’d knew she’d have service. We could see the airport terminal she was in, her layover in Seoul, Korea, to her multi city trip in Vietnam and even through India. The real time data and how accurate these are was amazing. We’d keep one tag on us when we traveled to Southeast Asia recently and one tag in our luggage and based on were the gps dots were on the map, we could make an educated conclusion that the luggage was on the airplane/or near by. This device gives so much peace of mind.App: the app is a little clunky and needs to be streamlined. Sometimes it takes a few extra clicks and weird things to get to where you want if you have multiple devices or also following someone else’s tag. I do like that it gives you the ability to allow other Samsung devices owners to also track you and you can choose the level of access. The only con is that this will only work on Samsung devices, which is kinda a bummer. Otherwise, huge fan of this device!

This is NOT an Android environment device!
This is for Samsung Galaxy devices that are running OS 9 or higher *AND* compatible with Samsung’s SmartThings app ONLY!!! For example I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab running OS 14…. NOT compatible. I have a Galaxy S8 updated to OS 9 (supposed to be compatible) that we use in the house as a WiFi device…. NOT compatible. Just make sure you can install Samsung’s SmartThings on your device before you order.Does Samsung list compatible devices anywhere? not that I could find. Compat with my Google Pixel phone? no. We have an iPhone 15 Pro Max as one of our phones so I guess I’ll be returning these ‘S’ tags and ordering airtags, bummer. No to Tile because it’s not clear to me if you actually lose something (stolen), does someone have to be within 400 feet of it AND have the Tile app installed on their device in order for me to locate the tile? seems rather unlikely whereas the SmartTag2 and airtag devices can be detected native by any (almost any ;)) Galaxy mobile device or iPhone device (respectively) native to the devices (they do not have to be running a locator app), so much more likely to be found. Anyway, if there was something native to the Android ecosystem (a Google device) I would go for that in a heartbeat.Short story on TIle: I bought a 4-pack when they first came out (many years ago) and they were fun and worked well, but when the batteries started to fail I went to replace and…. OH NO, these batteries are not replaceable, you have to send the device back to tile and buy replacement units…. what? so I cracked one open and guess what, it was just a CR2032 watch battery (or CR2016 I don’t recall), Silicon Valley greed at its finest! They just want to rip you (me) off claiming “oh that’s needed so that they are waterproof”, yeah, no, it’s needed so that you can charge recurring costs to your customers, not cool. They have replaceable batteries now but the whole greed thing was such a turn-off to me that I’m not going there.Yeah I was one of the original ZOOMBACK customers too, great concept back in the day, but greed and poor customer service put them out of business, too bad, they owned the market for a while. It didn’t work very well (spotty GSM-only network coverage back then), but it was better than nothing. Device was pricey, subscription was pricey, but it was kind of cool. Like a Lojack for your (enter expensive toy name here).GOOD LUCK!

Fantastic
Although one of the units had a battery that didn’t last two months, once we replaced the battery (very easy) we have come to rely on these SmartTags on a daily basis. They are great. One of our family members is constantly losing (misplacing) keys, binders, and medical supplies. With these tags they are easy to find. Buying 4 made it inexpensive and a great buy.Be aware, although Samsung says the tags work with all Samsung phones there is a restriction. They reluctantly admitted AFTER we bought the tags that they do NOT work with the Samsung A21 model phone. We worked around it because we have other phones that do work with them. Just beware about the A21. That failure aside, we love them.

Great investment and piece of mid
Recently I lost my car keys. After a couple of days I was resigned that they were never reappear. I have a german car and I couldn’t find an aftermarket fob. I contacted the dealer and the price was $1500 for the key fob. Everybody I know asked me why I didn’t have a smart tag in my keys. I thought it was expensive to buy something like that, but it is the same than having and expensive smart phone without a case. I got them and I put them in each one of our key fobs. It is a no brainer. You can locate your keys with it and the smart tag can also help you find your cell phone by pressing a button in them. The happy ending is that before I placed the order for the new key fob, I called the security office of the building I lost them and someone had found them and return them to their office 3 days after I lost them. Get this smart tags before it is too late!!!! 🙂

Great to track your luggage and other things when traveling
I have an android phone, so made sense to get these. Also in Europe seems many use android and I have not had any issue tracking my luggage – as I already had some for my checked and carry on luggage for a couple of years. I got these to add to other things I carry, like my camera and backpack..
