Our new house has hardwood floors and we have four dogs who are constantly bringing dirt and debris in the front entrance. This mat is well designed: the diamond pattern traps dirt and bits of grass, leaves, etc. Plus, it’s very comfortable to walk on.

Just hear me out…
1st of all I have been using this rug for 4 months. Live on a farm and this is laid down in our brand new entryway to protect our new flooring- it has done that job well.Like: I power washed it after a long, dirty winter and it came out very clean. It did not have a pungent rubber odor as did another brand I bought. It does absorb water and keep it from getting on the flooring.Do NOT like: The end of the rug is still not lying nice and flat after 4 months, still wants to curl a little. Not enough to keep the door from opening or trip me but it’s annoying. The biggest issue I have with this rug is it’s fabric – it pills. and snags. So for $75 (72″x24″) I would expect not to have a rug snag the first day of use. It has about 3 or 4 snags now and luckily the vaccum has not grabbed ahold of them, and yet I am afraid to cut them! Not sure I would spend $75 again for this product, maybe half that.

Practically perfect
I got these mats because I wanted something red and durable, but also with a little visual interest (instead of just plain red). The pattern in the rug looks great in person and the red color is very bold.I will say, we did leave our elderly dog alone while we went grocery shopping, and we came home to find he peed on one of these mats. I took it outside, sprayed it down with the hose and a little dish soap, and viola. No smell, no stain, no nothing. You wouldn’t even know.They are water proof and strong, but I don’t think I’ve had them a whole year yet and I can see a few small spots that look to be wearing a bit thin. Not at all obvious or unsightly, but it’s happening. If one does wear out, I just might replace it with the same product and give it another chance.

Gorilla Grip rubber backed carpeted mat
This mat is perfect in every way. The size, the pile height, the design, the color, the rubber backing are all perfect for my needs. While pivoting from my wheelchair to my sofa I noticed the rug beginning to wear. I carefully researched & studied, then ordered this non-skid mat considering the criteria mentioned above. It couldn’t have have been better than actually ordering a custom mat. It saved the life of my expensive wool rug. Also, a side note: it doesn’t bunch up when the wheelchair is driven over it, thereby alleviating a tripping hazard for the disabled!

Not Durable For My Purpose
The mat is a perfect size for the deck entrance through the dog door into the kitchen. The dogs in-and-out over time started wearing away the deck finish, so I was seeking something for the nails to grab into other than the deck wood. The mat mostly stays in place. However, the topside fabric is not a match for dog toenails and after about 3 months, the fabric is shredding.

not for use on concrete?
I like this product, it seems perfect for wiping our feet after walking in the yard. It has a nubby texture and feels like it does get off moderate amounts of yard dirt. I was rather unpleasantly surprised when I received it that the packaging indicated it should not be used on concrete. It didn’t specify the reason, whether it would be a safety hazard because of slipping or if it damagesstains concrete. I didn’t return it because of that disclaimer and have placed it on a painted concrete deck, out of the rain. Time will tell if it creates a problem.

Functional…
One should start with the positive, assuming the negative isn’t so bad… It catches the debris bigtime. I’ve yet to see it in action in a rainy season ( coming ), but I give it 5 stars for function.It looses a star for what seems like a lack of mussel… I mean, it’s flimsy, wouldn’t lay flat for a month… for a price that’s too much… given the flimsy.The fabric of the rug itself seems to be morphing out ( Calling it that, where fibers pull out from the new tight weave, and then make a fuzz-puff above said weave ) … guess we’ll have to see how long it last.. pic is at one 5 weeks of use… and the outside couple inches still isn’t flat to the floor.

Legal Disclaimer says not suitable for concrete, Directions says air out for 24-48 hours
I am not 100% sure why the mat is not suitable for concrete…perhaps legal disclaimer to warn that it won’t cushion your feet? Also, instructions say to air out for 24-48 hours due to plastic smell. That was definitely needed. I like the low price. I purchased the small size and will use inside garage. Concerned it may stain based on other reviews.

This runner is fantastic! I’m very glad I bought this.It’s soft to walk on, has a nice backing on it. The dirt and water from my very large dog’s paws (Great Dane & Silver Lab) go on it instead of my floors.I haven’t tried to wash it yet, but it seems like it’ll wash well.
