Do not buy the 4 K one if you have a Visio TV. Tried 2 different ones but the screen was too red. Others had the same problem.

Incredibly easy to set up
I’m always leery about buying techy stuff as I really don’t know how anything works but the instructions were super simple to follow, and the device basically installed itself once I plugged it in and gave it my WiFi password.Works perfectly to stream movies & stuff on the old tv in the spare bedroom. Great picture!It recognized the services I already have subscriptions for, like peacock and Netflix, so I didn’t even need to dig out the passwords for those. Just click and it set them up.As long as your tv has an HDMI port for input, it should work fine on your tv too.

Wonderful little device!
I love amazon devices, and my family loves using fire sticks, so I bought one to use on an old monitor for my kids bedroom, and it works like a charm! Parental controls are too easy to setup, ensuring a safe experience, while he can watch his favorite shows and play some games! its a wonderful win-win! I am even thinking about purchasing a second and third one for the family room and my bedroom! Wonderful price and value, 10/10 would recommend!

The stick works with my projector 👍
Finally I got the proper streaming equipment for the projector I bought. Tried the preloaded app on the projector but none of it worked. Just tease you by almost loading then kicking you back to the home screen (kinda felt like deja vue when I tried watching Tyson fight). So I did some digging an learned the fire stx was the answer. It arrived on time and would you believe it, everything worked 🙏 great.

Great Streaming for the Price
The setup was quick and easy, and the HD picture quality is great for my TV. The Alexa Voice Remote is definitely one of my favorite features—it makes finding shows, adjusting the volume, and even controlling my smart home devices super convenient, all with just a few voice commands.I also really appreciate the free and live TV options; they’re perfect for cutting the cord without missing out on live content. The streaming is fast, with little to no buffering, so I can enjoy my favorite shows without interruptions. That said, it doesn’t support 4K, but for the price, I didn’t expect that, and for regular HD content, it works perfectly.If you’re not looking for 4K streaming and just want a reliable, easy-to-use streaming device, this Fire TV Stick is definitely worth considering. Connecting to TV
I was having a hard time connecting so I went to YouTube and found that I needed to hold down the home buttone for 15 seconds. Once I did that my connections started and it was just a walk through the directions to connect this unit with my google account. We had already had a firestick connected previously so it picked up all of my already entered information and within about 2 minutes everything was set up again. Holding down that home button was the key but nowhere in the instructions did it tell me to do that so maybe this review will help someone else that’s having to replace their firestick.

Don’t follow the instruction included; remote not working
I am not new to Fire Stick. I had 15 in my account. When I followed the included instructions to a T, the remote didn’t work. What I had to do was get the remote set up first (put in the batteries), THEN plug in the Fire Stick. The directions had me do the opposite. One other HUGE point of annoyance is that the Fire Sticks do not have the serial numbers printed on them (cost them a star). I was told I has to have less than 12 in order to add another one. I looked at the dates I had registered them, and just deleted the oldest 4 (from 2019 and under). I am hoping that I didn’t delete ones that are still active. I really need to learn how to label them in my Amazon account so I know which one is which! Once working it did take about 10 to 15 minutes before we could get my Netflix set up for my sick grand daughter (4 y/o) who was not being very paitent. That being said, I had 15 (now 12) so I guess they seem to work for my family. Looking at a ROKU YouTube video made me run back to Fire Stick. Roku seemed very complicated to DL outside apps!

Simple, and good Smart TV Stick
A simple and multi feature smart TV stick, the video quality is good, just plugs in HDMI on any display and you are good, small and Portable in size, plug it in to the back HDMI of TV and you won’t notice it, the Fire TV remote also works as TV remote or turning it on and off, really likes the sound quality, but wish it could have done with a faster WiFi Connectivity, but if you WiFi Router is not too far, it’s not a concern

Makes finding what I want to watch so easy
I have an older small flat screen tv in my bedroom and wasn’t sure if I could use this Firestick on it. I was happy to learn that I could! I love to watch The Golden Girls at night before I go to bed (I find it relaxing and a bit nostalgic). I was tired of watching the same rerun episodes that the networks would play over and over again. Now with the Firestick and a streaming app, I can watch any episode I want whenever I want. The voice remote is my favorite! I can never remember what shows are streaming on which app, so now I just tell the remote what I’m looking for and it comes right up!

I love this version
I have one of these on each of my TVs. I like being able to control the channel, power and volume from one device. It even comes with quick buttons for your streaming channels. It is just the right size for my hand. It isn’t bulky.

Good item, dislike the remote
The firestick works great. The set up was really easy. This isnt my first firestick so i knew exactly what apps i wanted and had them installed and organized quickely.Hate the app buttons on the bottom of the hd remote. They are accidentally pressed all the time and it exits out what ever you are doing without any secondary prompt.For $35 its good but i think if i need to get another id get the 4k one just to avoid this remote.

Highly Recommend!
I bought this as a last ditch effort to fix my TV. I thought my TV or internet was the problem, but it was actually that my old Fire TV Stick was just done working after 10+ years : ) This was a very inexpensive fix! LOL and i love the new remote because I can control the volume and turn the TV on and off from it instead of having to use 2 remotes (which my old one didn’t have this feature).

Great way to use an older tv no longer connected to a cable box
We bought a fire stick on sale for $17.99 and attached it to a 16 year old flat screen tv’s HDMI port (too old to have a USB port) that had previously been connected to a cable box. Setup for the fire stick was not difficult, and no rather than having to purchase a new tv after ending our cable subscription, for $17.99 we now can continue to use a tv that works just fine.

Got a Black Friday deal for approx. $17. It is marvelous, love it.
My original Fire Stick which is clearly old as it doesn’t have any of the new features such as on/off button, volume control, quick access to prime video, Netflix, Disney+ and Peacock. I gave the old stick a proper sendoff as it had literally stopped working. This one, on the same TV works like a charm. So glad I got it when I did.

This is the fourth one I have purchased. Great quality is going in a guest bedroom where we don’t have cable. It’s great for when you do have guests so they are able to watch TV. Easy to hook up, compatible to all Television sets. Great value at that price, way cheaper than cable.

Another Fire stick
Amazon Fire Sticks are great when they work. This is our 4th one in a number of years. They just don’t seem to last as long as you think they should. I would have given 5 stars if not for that. When they start going bad, they slow down and lose connection.

Perfect
I just moved from a cable company to YouTubeTV. I was nervous at first, but my daughters assured me that it was time to cut the cable and they are right. I use the Fire Stick as the remote on my TVs. (I bought five and I’m happy with every one of them…three different models.) Now I have streaming TV for every TV in my house!

It’s Fire
I had the older version from nearly 6 years ago. It recently stopped working so I ordered a new one. The remote on the current version is far better than my older one with the addition of a dedicated Alexa voice button, mute, TV, prime video, Netflix, Disney + and peacock buttons.

The price is right.
I bought a Fire TV device last year, or, maybe two years ago. Anyway, it performed quite nicely. So, I bought another fire TV device this week. THIS NEW ONE has exited me out of some streaming services when I try to rewind. I don’t understand why it happens. Perhaps, I’ll simply NOT rewind. Other than that it’s seems to provide a quality picture and sound.

I bought this fire stick for my guestroom. It was easy to hook up. The directions were simple and straightforward. However, I think the TV is too old. I cannot get the sound to Go up and down the fire stick remote. Other than that, it was a great buy..

Easy installation
After a few days of no Amazon TV, I found out that all I needed was a new Fire Stick. I’m not good with computers but I did it all myself.Amazon has get tech support and they are good with us who might be computer challenged. They would have helped me out if I could not have done it.
