This is a great product- it is made well, attractive and the instructions are clear to understand. They also provide extra screws etc – and all are labled accordingly for easy assembly.The price is affordable and wish I would’ve purchased sooner!

I love the color, the desk is Ok and works fine.The bad thing about is the power supply it makes a wear sound and according to the support is normal, for thar reason is always disconnected and connected just to change the height.

Adjustable Desk

I bought my second one and it was delivered today. These are so easy to assemble and work perfectly when you need to adjust from standing to setting through out the workday. I purchased two so I could have them in an L Shape in my office for extra work space. Absolutely love them!

Product Dimensions

I do want to say that this is a very well-built, sturdy, and nice item. However, the product dimensions are off and need to be changed. Very misleading. I bought this for a space in my office to store under an existing counter when it’s not being used but is too tall. Product Dimensions stated this item was 26.35 H and my space is 27H thinking this would be perfect. But the actual H is 28.35 and that is too tall. I am very disappointed and wanted to let you the information is misleading and needs to be changed in your Product Dimensions information. After going back and reading it after finding it too tall I did find the 28.35 H deep into the product information so there are two different H sizes listed. Had I known this by looking at your product dimensions I wouldn’t have purchased it because it wouldn’t work. Thanks

Makes noise when plugged in

The desk itself is fine. Decent quality. Adjusts to plenty of different heights. Desk area is a little small. The feature in the most annoyed with is that while plugged in it makes this constant noise from the power pack. I’ve plugged it into different outlets and still makes the noise. It’s not terribly loud but loud enough to constantly hear if it’s quiet in the room. The noise is somewhat between a chirping and alarm noise.

It’s a good desk

I like this desk, it was easy to set up by myself. The top comes in two pieces that you put together so there’s a line running through the middle, I suggest getting a desk mat if you hate that. There’s no safety mechanism on the motor so if you’re rising or lowering the desk and something is in the way, it’s going to keep going. Just make sure things are clear of the sides. I don’t know if I’d kneel on top of it like the pictures show but it’s pretty sturdy.

1 Year In

I waited to review this desk because I wanted to make sure the review was honest. I have had my desk for one year. I work from home 1 to 2 days a week plus I am a student pursuing my doctorate, everyday I am sitting at my desk.1. The desk was easy to assemble I am a 57 year old woman and it took my 40 minutes2. It fits perfectly in my home office space, I measured twice to make sure before I ordered it3. The desk still goes up and down without any issues, if you are tall make sure to measure your standing height.4. The desk is very sturdy, I currently have a Mac desk top and MacBook Pro on it. I will be setting up dual monitors.After a year of usage I really have no complaints

ErGear Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk, 55 x 28 Inches

I’m happy with this purchase. I bought it on Amazon and it was a “sold by ErGear” purchase, so not a “shipped&sold by Amazon” purchase. At some point I’ll get something made of actual wood instead of manufactured wood, but for now this is very suitable for my needs at a fairly low price and I’d definitely recommend to others looking for the same. I think the quality is similar to what you find almost everywhere now. It came in an actual ErGear-labeled box and was packaged cleanly and well. Putting it together is very simple and most could do on their own. I think some have complained about lack of pre-drilled holes. Mine all came with all the necessary pre-drilled holes. The desk comes in two pieces that are joined together, so make sure you have the “holes” side facing the same way. Anyway, this was very easy to assemble with no special equipment needed. May need some elbow grease.The desk dimensions are absolutely perfect for me. I use this as a computer desk for gaming mostly. Other desk seem to start a tad higher. That tiny amount makes a huge difference for me. It is the perfect height. My wrists wrest comfortably on the desk…it’s perfect (I’m about 5’11”). I haven’t bothered raising it so can speak as to that function. I’ve had no issues with sharp edges whatsoever. The width and depth are perfect for me also. It’s hard finding these dimensions as most desk are too small are too large. This easily fits my ultrawide monitor and speakers, leave additional room for drinks, books etc, without taking up an astronomical amount of space up in my room!The desk is basic and black, and that’s all I need right now. It looks fine, but isn’t “sexy” if aesthetics is important to you. I’m very happy with this desk, and with the delivery by ErGear and would definitely buy from/recommend them to others.

Meets expectations + price point

Pros:This desk was surprisingly a good find. I’ve added quite a bit of extras to the desk and it hasn’t alerted about weight yet. I will say if you leave the desk in a higher position for “too long” it will go back to original height. I’m not exactly sure how long that is though but just wanted to note that.There’s plenty of space under the desk to manage cables and config your setup to what you want.The thickness of the table is perfect for aftermarket mounts such as keyboard trays, mic stands monitor mounts and cable holders.Cons:The power block makes a slight swirling sound when plugged it. It may drive you mad if you pay attention to it. I may just have super hearing though.The cable holder on the back is “in my opinion ” not in an ideal spot. If you want to mount monitors to your desk to save space you will have to mount slightly off center.The mechanism to move the desk up and down makes a mechanical sound some times. I do check to make sure the bar is secure in it’s slot after a set amount of position shiftsConclusion:Overall, good price (lightening deal) good product and the ability to save 4 positions. The size is pretty good. I plan to practice djing so there is enough room for that as long as you add a keyboard tray and mount the monitors.

Perfect for a small space

I think somewhere in the description it said it takes two people to assemble this desk. I was able to assemble it on my own in about an hour and I wasn’t rushing through it. They provide an Allen wrench, but you will need your own Philip screwdriver or drill for the final bits.The instructions were good, the box itself is thin and light enough that I was able to carry it off the ground on my own and it’s around 35 pounds or so.The lowest height is 27.4. So if you happen to have shoulder issues that require a lower desk or if you’re on the smaller side, you may need a three tiered one instead of just a two tiered one like this.It does not have USB charger attachments, but it also was not described as having it by the seller.If you like the idea of a two tiered flexispot type of desk, but don’t have that money or just need a second desk this is a great alternative.

Affordable, reliable, and easy to assemble

This desk (white) was delivered quickly and I found it easy to assemble by following the pictures provided with the instructions. It took approximately 25 minutes to assemble. The control panel allows me to save various height and then just push a button and within seconds, I’m all set. The desk top is perfect size for my laptop and two monitor set-up. I’ve been using it for a month now without issues and can recommend to others. It’s an affordable product, great price, and also a quick response when I sent a note to the seller.

Updated – Disappointed by Product Quality and Unacceptable Customer Service from ErGear

I felt that I needed to update my review. The company reached out to me because of my first review of their customer service (1 star) and was pretty responsive to emails going back and forth. So I do have to give them credit for that much. After some discussion and sending photos of the damage to the desk top, we were able to come to a mutual resolution. And for that I am grateful – it just should not have had to go this far to get resolved. All in all, though, they did sent proactive messages keeping me informed and that is what customer service should be. So thank you -I recently purchased a 48″x24″ natural wood computer desk from ErGear, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. From the moment I unboxed the desk, it was clear there was an issue. The desktop itself came chipped right out of the box, something that should never happen with a brand-new piece of furniture. I was willing to give the company a chance to address this issue, but that’s where things went downhill fast.The company includes a phone number in their documentation, which, in hindsight, I thought would make things more efficient than going through Amazon’s messaging system. Well, I was wrong. Over the course of three weeks, I have attempted to reach out to ErGear over six times on the provided phone line. On my very first attempt, I actually got a call back from someone named Dan. However, that one and only response was just a voicemail—no resolution, no next steps, just a vague promise that someone would “get back to me.”Naturally, I called back, but every attempt since then has been met with the same frustrating message: “Leave a message, and someone will get back to you.” Spoiler alert—they never do. It’s as if the company is purposefully dragging out communication to push customers past the 30-day return window so they can avoid taking responsibility for defective products. This tactic is incredibly frustrating and feels downright deceptive.According to Amazon’s TOS, providing a phone number as a primary point of contact isn’t even allowed. Still, I chose to go this route because it seemed like it would be faster and more efficient to resolve the issue directly with the company. Big mistake. The fact that ErGear gave a phone number that leads to endless voicemail and zero real customer support is a perfect example of what customer service should not be.Three weeks later, I’m stuck with a chipped desk, zero resolution, and a company that seems to be actively avoiding me. This experience has been a huge disappointment and has left me feeling like ErGear does not care about the quality of their products or the satisfaction of their customers. If you’re considering buying from ErGear, be aware that while the products may look nice, the lack of proper customer support makes the entire experience more trouble than it’s worth.Customer service is a cornerstone of any reputable brand, and ErGear’s handling of my issue has shown that they either don’t care or are trying to game the system. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re in the market for a desk or any other product they offer. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company if you value good customer service and a hassle-free buying experience.

The desk itself is great!! It can be raised very high. I love the color I got. Spacious and for a good price. My only complaint is some of the materials to assemble it were not labeled so it was a bit challenging to assemble. I had my finance do it for me.

Awesome

I have to say I was skeptical about the top being in two pieces but man they did it right. I am a OCD when it comes to my work bench area and this thing is strong!!! The motor is at the perfect speed up and down and the cable guid in the back is the bomb. Love it thank you I WILL HAVE TO TAKE A PICTURE WHEM I BET BACK HOME.

Good desk!

Easy to build, and is sturdy enough. I have enough space to have 2 monitors and a laptop. When rise to the max, it will have a small wobble if you rock it back and forth. It does not sit completely flat where the two half connect , not sure if it can be adjusted. Overall it’s a good desk.

Modest and functional; stable surface; quiet motor; good assembly instructions

It is a good size for home. The unit I have at the office is much more robust in every way–surface top area, thickness of table, speed of motor.I haven’t found a use for the hangars on the side.I wish it had a drawer and a place to put my laptop underneath so I have more free workspace. I end up with laptop on the left side of the table top and my notes laying on the laptop. There isn’t a lot of room on the table if you have a full-sized keyboard in front of the monitor.The motor controls are easy to work with and program.The legs are very stable. The top seems a bit thin, but it is adequate. It is two long pieces connected with wood dowels; so, if you spill, it will eventually seep into the crack. However, it is well connected by three plates and both of the leg brackets. This makes it very stable.The power cable from the motor was a bit short to get back to my UPS on the far left; it would be helpful if you could build the unit with the motor on either side (maybe you can and I missed that detail).
