Great Value
This little device has worked very well for me. I’ve been using it for three weeks with my iPhone in our old 2007 Honda Civic. It works very well for navigation, music podcasts, incoming text messages and more. In some reviews it has been mentioned that the unit begins playing music as soon as it is turned on (the car is turned on) this is true, but not a huge deal in my experience. One option is simply turning off your car stereo or changing the stereo input. Another option is to press the pause button on the unit. I had one annoyance that I contacted support about and they responded promptly with a solution. The issue for me was that a little white circle with blue outline appears in Car Play mode. This circle can cover things like the speed limit in maps. Thankfully there is a way to turn it off (Go to basic setup and then click Suspension key switch to OFF).The two things I would improve about this device are:1) Microphone: The few calls I’ve made said that it was very difficult to understand me with the built in mic. I had to switch to using my phone in speaker phone mode. However, the mic seems to work okay for Siri.2) Touch Screen: the scrolling performance of the touch screen is poor. I think a finger lift off stops scrolling so one must do more of a drag motion than a scroll with acceleration as has been common since the 1st iPhone. In summary I’m amazed at how well this works and how much functionality you get for $50. I’m also happy with the email support. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

2009 car and still using AUX? Here’s your solution.
I absolutely love this thing. I’ve been using it for maybe a month now. I got it on sale for about $45 and I have to say for the price, this thing is incredible! Here are the things I love:- It can plug into your aux- It automatically connects to Bluetooth to your phone when you turn on your car- it doesn’t change the sound of the songs or podcasts/whatever you’re listening to- it’s touch screen, and sensitive I may add.- it’s not so big that it blocks sight in front of you while on your dash (unless you have a higher dash)- it came with a suction cup mount AND a sticky mount, so if you don’t want gunk on your dash or you live in a hot state you don’t have to worry about it melting.- it’s literally CarPlay. So easy, took me 5 mins to install.- it has a built in safety feature that won’t let you FaceTime while you drive.- it elevated my car and made me feel fancy, what else can I say!I haven’t installed the reverse camera yet, but it came with detailed instructions on how to install that as well.Things to consider:- brightness levels don’t automatically adjust, so I have to turn it up and down depending on if it’s day or night- there’s a little bit of a lag with the audio, granted that it’s connecting to your phone via Bluetooth and then transmitted through AUX.- sometimes the joints in the mount loosen (even when tight) due to heat outside. I live in Hawaii, so it’s hot. HOWEVER, even with the heat, it’s never overheated.- people can’t really hear me on the phone when connected to Bluetooth, so I have to answer on speaker. For being a completely separate, easily installable Bluetooth CarPlay, this thing is incredible. Inexpensive, perfect size, and makes your car feel nicer. I have ZERO regrets, and I hope I influenced you to do the same! Also suggestion – get little cord clips to organize them so they aren’t loose.

Great improvement over my in-dash GPS
My in-dash GPS is old, difficult to update, and expensive to maintain. Not so with the Eleacc Portable Wireless Carplay Car Stereo, 7″ HD Touchscreen. It was quick and easy to set up using Google Maps and Waze. It was half the price of a GPS update and works better. The display is very clear. It’s easy to remove fingerprintsI’m using it with a 2016 F-150 Ford. I mounted it on the dash and it is much easier to see than the unit built in to the dash. The in-dash requires a USB drive from the manufacturer. It’s necessary to connect to my home wireless and leave the truck running for an hour… what a waste of gas. With Eleacc Portable Wireless Carplay Car Stereo, 7″ HD Touchscreen for Car with Apple CarPlay any updates take place when I update my phone. We like it so well, that we are planning to buy one for other car that does not have an in-dash GPS.I’m not using the backup camera because the truck’s camera works fine. I am considering a field modification to use the camera on bike rack,

Solid portable Carplay stereo
I recently bought a portable Apple CarPlay backup camera with a screen for my son to help him on his commute to an urban college, and we have been pleased with it. He drives an older car, and I wanted him to have a hands-free way of setting up Waze that provided a way for him to easily see the map without taking his eyes off the road. The microphone for the phone is just OK, I would say, as is the ability to play music through the FM stereo. His car doesn’t have an aux connection, but if it did, I think the unit would work even better sound wise. The setup was simple — just a straightforward touchscreen and login process. The image quality is excellent and bright. Overall, this device does what I bought it to do for the most part, and I hope it lasts us until he gets through college.

Very affordable way to add carplay to any car
Extremely easy to install and setup. Plug in to 12v and connect wires. If adding backup cam you can also wire it into the trigger wire of the car for the reverse lights so it comes on when it’s reversing. I got this on a sale just around $50 and its an incredible value. All your maps and apps appear on the screen. you can do a triple split screen with like spotify, maps and events all showing at once, or just one large app. It connects thru bluetooth to your stereo or thru an aux jack or even an FM transmitter so literally can go in anything (I think it even has its own built in speaker for like a hobby project or something) A+

Works exactly as advertised
I got this for my 2017 Kia Soul, so I wouldn’t have to (unsafely) look down at my phone for directions. It was so easy to set up, and works perfectly- connects to my phone 99% of the time, right away. The only thing I wish it did was auto-adjust to night vision, but I’m sure there’s a setting in my Maps app to do that. I didn’t need to use the backup camera, as I already have one installed, but I thought that was a nice bonus with this dashboard interface. I’ve also been surprised at how well it’s stayed put, even though the surface on which its secured isn’t flush. All in all, I recommend it!

Connects quickly without fail!!
I bought this for my work vehicle that I use as a delivery van. I love the wireless android auto. It allows me to connect easily each day as I start my routes. It has so many useful feature that I use, like the ability to stream music and podcasts through a separate app. I mainly wanted it for navigation, but the other features are great. The device works seamlessly and it is a great buy for the money. Not to mention, the back-up camera came in handy for a truck with not rear view mirror. I would recommend this to anyone wanting the up-to-date features of a modern auto stereo unit with having to replace your entire oem head unit..

A great plug and play item
This item is a great alternative to the really expensive Apple CarPlay, easy to setup, and it works great. At first I tried connecting with the FM channel but it produced a lot of static so I ended up connecting with the aux cord. It works great! I receive my text messages and phone calls through the Bluetooth on the CarPlay, it automatically connects to my phone at startup and continues playing my music where it left off, and I can use the navigation tool either through my phone or by typing directly into the map feature on the screen. I did not install the included backup camera because my car already has one but I’m sure that works just as well as the rest. I have a 2011 Honda Pilot so it doesn’t have a touch screen or built in Bluetooth so this has really improved my having access to everything while driving. I would highly recommend this product.

Works as expected, but screen is bad and a bit slow.
This installed pretty easily in my car and was impressed with how quickly I got everything up and running. I was hoping to power off my Anker cigarette lighter power adapter so I can also charge my phone as well, but the unit didn’t like whatever power specs were from the Anker charger as none of my USB-C cables worked. It really preferred the power adapter it came with, which is fine, I just can’t charge my phone. Maybe a need a double tap cigarette lighter.Everything works well and as expected compared to other CarPlay units I’ve used in cars that have it OEM, but the screen leaves much to be desired. The color/contrast controls suck and the screen is rather dim so you get what you get. The screen lags as well and sometimes takes a second to think about what touch input it just received, which is annoying. The biggest complaint I have is that the screen internally doesn’t line up with the case/bezel of the unit. It’s slightly off-center internally from the black border. Small thing, but doesn’t affect functionality at all.For $50 this thing gets the job done and saves a ton of headache from installing a head unit and wiring up, etc. I can’t complain too much and the functionality works as expected.

Works great!
Connected quickly w my Iphone and stereo BT but I did have to play w my car system so that it would connect to my phone (vs the device if that makes sense) but that took just a few minutes; large screen w bright display; touchscreen works great; and it turns off/on w my car’s ignition switch which is a plus! I drive all over town for work and having hands free navigation is a must; if you can’t afford a new car or car system, this is the way to go!

Pleasantly Surprised solid device
This media device is truly worth it. I bought this hoping that it would be at least decent. But test it is very good at what it was made for. Specifically Android auto, because that is what I use it with it work seamlessly. I have had this for 2 days that already like it alot. In is a solid device, it come with all the mounts and hardware that you could possible need. I got it for just under $50. It connefts without issue and plays my music from my car system the navigation is great using Android auto with this and my steering controls work too. The phone I am using with this is the S22 Ultra. Also comes with an option backup camera which works pretty okay as well. I am using it to see the littles one I the back because my car is already equipped with cameras. Great buy for the cost try it and see. Will update if anything gets wild.

Great product for older cars
I own an older Honda with a built in AUX. This product utilizes the cigarette lighter slot and the aux slot to utilize power and the speakers in your car. If you do not have an aux port, the product also has built in speakers with sound quality. The two adjustable mounts allow for an easy way to customize your experience and provides you with many different options on where the display is. I opted for the adjustable bar in order to make it easy for me to use while driving as it sits on the right side of my dashboard. Call quality is a bit spotty as it doesn’t pick up conversations well.

Great solution for an older vehicle. Especially for a new driver!
Bought this Wireless CarPlay Stereo for my 16 year old son. He just got his driver’s license, and he is driving a 2003 Toyota Highlander. I wanted to make sure that he was able to focus on driving and wouldn’t be distracted messing with the radio. This allows him to connect his phone and set a playlist, and not have to mess with it after that. It is also so nice that he can pull up directions and focus on the road. The backup camera is nice as well, although he doesn’t use it much because he has to manually turn it on every time he backs up. But it is a nice feature if he ever feels like he needs it. Would recommend.

Excellent Portable Wireless CarPlay Option – Smooth Setup and Use!
I recently purchased the Eleacc Portable Wireless CarPlay unit for my car, and I am thoroughly impressed! Here are some of the things I love about it:1. Easy Setup: Straight out of the box, it only took me a few minutes to get it up and running. The instructions were clear, and the setup process was straightforward. 2. Wireless Connection: I love that it’s wireless – no more fumbling with cords every time I get into the car! It connects automatically to my iPhone, and the connection is solid, with no drops. 3. Responsive Touchscreen: The touchscreen is surprisingly responsive for a portable unit. It feels as smooth as a built-in system, and the screen is bright and clear, even in daylight.

Audio Lags By 3-4 Seconds
This is ok if you’re just using it for music but the audio lags really bad. If you get a call, the lag causes major issues since what you just heard is 3-4 seconds after someone said something. Also if you eat in your car during lunch break, and want to watch something with the speaker from your car, again that audio lag makes the video really out of sync with the audio.Otherwise, the product is not bad, but does have some glare issues as well

Screen lags a little so does the audio at times
I’ve had this for a few days. It’s clear but the screen lags a little. I haven’t set up my back up camera yet so I’m hoping it works and that the picture is clear.I skip a song and it still plays the song for a few seconds with the new song title showing.

Easy set up
Just got this all set up. Only trick part that I needed pro help with was running the camera – was cheap enough that it didn’t break the bank. Touch screen isn’t the best quality but I wasn’t gonna spend $600 for a CarPlay solution. Love that it has the aux port – makes audio seamless

Works seamlessly, easy to set up
This is an excellent rectangle!Really though – this CarPlay system does exactly what I wanted it to. I have an iPhone 16 and a 2015 car with a non-working USB port, so I needed a way to play music from my phone. The map display is just a plus. The system plugs into the cigarette lighter/battery port for power and into the AUX port if you want to use your car’s speakers (there are built-in speakers as well, but the sound quality is average). Phone connects to the system via Bluetooth.Pairing was extremely easy and connects automatically after it’s set up. Maps and music display well and there’s only maybe a 1-2 second lag between starting a song on my phone and it beginning to play through the system.Only downsides are that the screen has a pretty significant glare in bright sunlight and the AUX cord that comes with it is quite short, but for the price and good functionality in other aspects, I’m not bothered by it. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase.

it’s greta!
it’s really easy to use and set up the Bluetooth connected so so easy the screen is very clear and it’s just like CarPlay. The CarPlay even comes up right on my phone right when I get in my car and turn it on I would definitely get a longer aux cord because the aux cord it comes with is not very long so I can’t ox connected to my car, but it just connected to my car Bluetooth it sits up super cute on my dash like the modern cars and I definitely glad I got this then a built-in CarPlay system

Great product with one exception…..
Awesome item, makes me like my old 2009 Subaru Impreza a bit more! Bluetooth sync was fast and easy, I can stream Apple Music, Spotify and Libby no problem though thr Android Car app. This would have been a 5 star review but the screen on/off button on the back does not work which is frustrating as I drive a lot at night and would like to option to screen off. Otherwise, this carplay is the best!

Worth the Money.
Good product for the money.Starts fast!Once paired with your android phone it aggressively connects to Android Auto function.I was able to use with google maps, Audible etc.The Built in speaker is almost worthless. Not loud enough to overcome normal car noises and has a lack of frequency range. Once connected to your car stereo it sound is good. There is a lack of documentation and instructions. However, most tech savvy people would be able to figure out the basic functions. (Typical instructions translated into English)Does drop the Android Auto connection occasionally. Had to unplug the unit once or twice to get it to work again.

Easy, affordable, good for the price.
This unit was really easy to set up!It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and you can easily control music and maps, among other apps.I connected everything via Bluetooth, it was a little tricky to figure out the exclusively Bluetooth connection and I originally had an aux connection. After playing around with the unit, I figured out I didn’t need the aux cord and could connect exclusively via Bluetooth.Connects quickly and sounds great.Has a built in EQ, so you can customize the sound.I like how you can still use steering wheel controls when connected via Bluetooth. This will take place of my spotify car thing now that spotify is killing it.I will likely get a CD port holder, as I don’t really like the double sided tape type mount.

Best carplay for any type of car
I’ve been using this CarPlay on my 2000 Toyota solara car and I was skeptical at first since my car is too old but I was impressed. As soon as I connected the device it was pretty good and the backup camera is great as well.It has so many features and is easy to understand. Comes with options to install anywhere in the car. I would recommend getting this one! The size of the screen is perfect not too small or too big to avoid creating blind spots and it’s system is very fast

Hands down would buy again!!
This thing is legit! I really loved that it was just plug and play truly! Literally had this thing set up within seconds, and then it was super simple to wire the back up camera and everything! Well worth the money it has a very tiny lag that you’ll notice every now and then while your scrolling through screens, but if you’re like me and you didn’t have anything Updated like CarPlay in your vehicle in the first place it doesn’t even matter! I was debating on buying a new vehicle because I was tired of not having a way to play my phone and music in my vehicle and now my biggest concern is settled by just the simple product would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Carplay Unit At a Reasonable Price! Finally I have my true MPH readout!
I bought this Carplay unit around mid July of this year and have had absolutely no regrets! Firstly, out of the box I actually ended up securing my unit to some bolts on top of my dash using zip ties and it holds very securely and does not look out of place. The screen is extremely responsive and I never find myself having to press on a button more than once to make it activate — In addition, I appreciate that on the Apply Carplay portion of the unit, you can fit 5 apps horizontally for two rows, this is larger than most of my friends car who have native carplay. In regards to call quality, most often people say my voice comes across clear without any issues, though occasionally I hear someone say otherwise.I primarily bought this unit to have my map directions easily accessible and to have album art displayed while I am driving; it performs these duties quite well. Something I had not considered, since I have oversized tires on my vehicle my speedometer is about 3mph shy of my true speed — through the use of waze and this unit, I have an accurate digital speedometer always available right next to the road’s speed limit! I can’t recommend this unit enough!I have yet to setup the reverse camera functionality as my car has it natively. Although I did test it out to potentially add a vehicle front view camera. To activate the camera you merely need to power the red lead provided which I believe could be done with a simple switch wired to an external battery allowing you to toggle the front camera view. The only reason I have not done this is because using the camera pauses whatever audio you have coming through the unit.

Nice Alternative for Carplay
We bought my daughter a used car that was not equipped with Apple CarPlay. Since she always relied on it for Google Maps, her music and hands free texting and calling when using our car, we wanted to get her something that she could connect to her car that would enable her to use all those things. This has worked out perfectly. Simple set up, works great, fits nicely on her dashboard. Even came with a back up camera which we did not need to connect since her car already has one. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for one!

Great quality and arrive at the same day. Product is very easy to install, I don’t understand anything about cars and was able to install by myself. Very good Product and it does also connect even if your car don’t have AUX cable like mine, I was able to connect only with Bluetooth it also does accept Netflix which I personally loved!!! Honestly I was not expecting such great quality compared to the price but it was above my expectations. Would recommend to my friends and family as well.

I absolutely love this CarPlay attachment for my 2002 Toyota Tundra. Before I only had a radio and a tape player, so I had no good options. Now however, I can play anything that is on my phone or on the internet! It couldn’t be better or easier. It was extremely easy to setup and has multiple options for audio which was super helpful (I use the FM transmitter). Now I LOVE driving and I highly recommend purchasing this is you are on the fence! Definitely worth the money.

This is a great product that works well at a great price, Beautiful screen, adheres well to the dashboard, touchscreen, connects easily wirelessly to my car’s radio system, and everything on CarPlay and GPS is on the screen. Excellent CarPlay unit, read below for how to mount it!
This unit is great. Has CarPlay, android auto, and phone screen mirror. I tested them all briefly and they work but I just use CarPlay which is so much better than my car’s OEM system. I originally tried the aux cable but I didn’t like the audio quality, so I switched to Bluetooth which sounds perfect, plus that’s one less cable. I have a shortcut set on my iPhone to auto play my audiobook once CarPlay is connected. All I do is power on my car and everything connects and starts playing automatically. Boots fast, super smooth, highly recommend.Mounting:The unit comes with mounting hardware to stick it or screw it into your car but I wanted something less permanent. If you search CarPlay or phone mounts for car you will find lots of results that look like they use the same ball joint as this unit but THEY DO NOT, the ball joint that comes with this unit is not standard size and will not fit into other mounting hardware. After lots of trial and error I got the “for iPad Car Mount Air Vent Tablet Holder Upgraded Metal Hook for 5-11 Inch Samsung Galaxy Tablets iPad Pro Air Mini iPhone Cell Phone” which grips this CarPlay unit tightly and clips into your air vent. It is supper sturdy and easy to install and remove. Note that you will need to cut about 1cm of material from one of the sides of the air vent mount so the CarPlay charging cable can fit; super easy if you have an electric jig saw or Dremel.

A remarkable device for the price
I bought this for my 2002 pickup. It works remarkably well. The audio is a bit soft from the speaker, but the broadcast to FM works just fine. The screen is a little blue, but perfectly usable. I really just plugged it in, paired it with my phone, and it worked.

Actually pleasantly suprised
I was all prepared to hate it. I’m older and technology tales a bit longer to get comfortable with now. But this suprised the heck out of me. 2 different ways to mount in your vehicle is nice. One wire to get started and a couple minutes to do the basic set up. So I made a 60 mile round trip today (my second day with this). I got in my car and as soon as I started my car it connected to my phone. I transmit to my radio. So I was jamming the Beatles on Sirius while getting up to the minute traffic on Waze. I made and received hands-free calls and texts. My 8 year old car was lacking navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. Now I have it all. I am going to customize my set up further but it’s great out of the box

Got this as a gift for my girlfriend and she set up the same day. This was so easy to set up and get going we were even able to hide the wires behind the dash they’re thin enough. Works as designed – inexpensive way to add CarPlay capabilities to older vehicles
Easy to install, mount holds well on dashboard, syncs to iPhone quickly, and works as designed. Need to use the included cigarette lighter adapter and cable to power in order for FM transmission to function properly. Wish it had a small battery back up so it retained time – however syncs to iPhone very quickly on start and display comes up properly with time and CarPlay screen

Great for those who don’t have it built into car
I purchased this CarPlay because I wanted something larger to navigate than my phone. It has been wonderful. My Bluetooth on my car has stopped working, so this helps a lot. The size of the radio screen itself is quite fitting for my own car, and would guess it would be fitting for many others. Comes with auxiliary, Bluetooth, and other sound system options to connect to your car. The gps system also works quite well, mostly accurate. The screen is clear and easy to navigate. And runs at a rather decent speed. I would recommend for others looking for a decently priced radio. Not to mention the fact it comes with a back-up camera, which also works great!

Wireless CarPlay Car Stereo Review
I recently installed this wireless CarPlay car stereo, and overall, I’m pretty impressed with it! Setting it up was a breeze—far easier than I expected. The mounting adapters included in the kit fit perfectly and made the installation smooth. Everything clicked into place without any hassle, and I was able to get the system up and running in no time. One of the best things about this stereo is how responsive it is when using Apple CarPlay. The integration is seamless—once it’s connected to your iPhone, everything works exactly as you’d expect. Apps launch quickly, and navigating through maps or selecting music feels fluid and lag-free.The display is solid, though I did notice that it leans toward a blue hue, which might not be to everyone’s liking. Thankfully, there are adjustable settings within the display options to tweak the color balance, so I was able to adjust it to my preference fairly easily. As for the reverse camera, I haven’t had the chance to install or test it yet, but the stereo comes with clear instructions for doing so. I’m looking forward to hooking it up when I get the chance. One feature I particularly love is the memory card slot. It’s a great addition because I can load movies onto a microSD card and watch them while parked. This is perfect for long waits, like when you’re sitting in the car at a rest stop or picking someone up—definitely a fun little bonus that sets this stereo apart from others. All in all, this is a solid wireless CarPlay stereo that offers good performance, easy setup, and some nice extra features like the memory card support. Definitely worth considering if you’re looking for an upgrade to your car’s tech system!

Not perfect, but works and a great value
Short Review:It’s not perfect, but at $69.99 it’s a great deal and offers a lot of value. I presume a built-in head unit would be better, but I’m sure it would cost much more than this product.Based on appearance, this model appears to be sold my many different Amazon sellers and, overall, had some of the best reviews of any portable CarPlay screens.I installed this in a 2012 Chevy Colorado and using an iPhone SE 2020 for CarPlay.Long Review:Here are the connections on the unit:- 3.5mm audio (unit can also do audio via Bluetooth, and FM Transmitter. More on that later); cable included- Micro SD Card (can show images, play music and video); card not included- 2.5mm video for backup camera; camera and cabling included- USB-C for power; cable included (any USB-C power cable should work though)I did not use the provided mount, instead I used a CD player mount (Epronic Portable Car GPS Mount) with 17mm Ball Joint (ThtRht 3 Pack 17mm Ball Joint).I also chose to use a license plate mount (Pixelman Universal Car Rear View). For the camera install, I highly recommended using a Tap Splice.Features- CarPlay – Works well. Touch screen lags a bit compared to my OEM 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe- Audio – Bluetooth works well. You must connect your phone to the vehicles Bluetooth then select Bluetooth for audio source. – 3.5mm works well. You must choose AUX for audio source. – FM Transmitter works as well as expected. Note that you must use provided charger for FM transmitter to work properly. I am using a USB-C cable for power and the FM Transmitter does not work. – Internal Speakers are rough, but better than no sound at all.- Screen Mirroring – My iPhone cannot connect (I get an error). It appears there is an update to the unit that can fix this, but it’s not an important feature to me (and I’m not confident how to do the update)- SD Card – Nice to have the ability to store music, but it’s clunky. Also the sound doesn’t work if you are using BT AudioPROS- Cost- Easy install- Works as intended- Bluetooth and AUX audioCONS- Touch screen lags- Backup camera resolution (especially at night)- Internal Speaker quality- FM transmitter qualityNOTES- My 12V power ports constantly have power, so the unit never turns off. I installed a USB in-line switch (ELECTOP 2 Pack Male to Female USB). Note that I’m not using the provided power adapter

Transform your old car with new touch screen device
I recently upgraded my old Mazda 6 with a CarPlay Device and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! This device has completely revolutionized my driving experience. Installation took only a few minutes, and from that moment, I knew I had made the right choice. After almost three months, I can say the device is well-designed, well-constructed, and performs exceptionally well for its price. The seamless integration with my iPhone via Apple CarPlay is impressive. The 7-inch high-definition touchscreen is crystal clear and incredibly responsive. It makes navigating through apps and maps a pleasure. I was apprehensive about glare, as is common with most in-car screens, but this one looks good even in bright sunlight. It connects to the 12V power socket, eliminating any worry about battery life. The power cord plug also offers an additional USB port for charging a phone or accessory. One of the standout features is its versatility; whether you’re an Apple or Android user, this device has you covered. It’s perfect for those looking to upgrade their car’s tech without breaking the bank. The hands-free functionality is a game-changer. I can make calls, send texts, and use navigation without taking my hands off the wheel or my eyes off the road.I haven’t connected or tested the backup camera yet and may not need to, but if I encounter any significant issues in the next few weeks, I’ll update my review. For now, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. Highly recommended!

Works Great
I bought this about a week ago, the android auto works great and the product seamlessly connects with the car. The display quality is good for its price, it is also built good and seems durable. The system is very easy to setup and you can start uaing it right away. The features of the product is similar to what you get in other car plays and guves the same options as android auto.

A game changer for the road
I recently upgraded my car’s audio system with a wireless CarPlay stereo, and it’s been a revelation. No more fumbling with cables or worrying about compatibility issues. The setup process was incredibly simple – just connect my iPhone to the car’s Wi-Fi hotspot, and I was good to go.The wireless connection is rock-solid, with zero lag or dropouts. It’s like having my phone’s interface seamlessly integrated into my car’s dashboard. I can easily access my favorite music apps, navigation, and phone calls, all while keeping my eyes on the road. The sound quality is exceptional, with clear and crisp audio that enhances my driving experience. The touchscreen is responsive and intuitive, making it easy to navigate menus and control various functions. If you’re looking to elevate your car’s tech game and enjoy a truly wireless and convenient driving experience, I highly recommend investing in a wireless CarPlay stereo. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference.

Does everything it says it will do…
…but doesn’t do everything great…Pros:-Price (on sale)-Actual device setup is a breeze…all components work. Installation will always vary due to installer experience and vehicle.-Device boot up and connection to wireless apple car play (I don’t have android auto, so i cannot comment on this) is fast and seamless.-comes with two mount adhesives and a windshield mountCons:-backup camera resolution is lacking, either from the quality of the backup camera itself, the device screen resolution or both, especially if there is some shade behind the vehicle.-Screen glare is PRETTY BAD.-Slop in device mount; when screen is pressed, the device on mount moves slightly; all areas that can be tightened are tightened on mount.Neither PROS or CONS, but notable:-screen speed (swiping) is acceptable but opens apps pretty fast.-obviously sound quality using FM transmitter on device is not great for both music and voice calls; but works…device does come with and auxiliary cable if your vehicle has an auxiliary port which should increase the sound quality.-device has the ability to play music or voice calls from the device itself….but cannot adjust sound loud enough and the sound quality is severely lacking.-Wish device came with license frame backup camera mount; had to purchase separately on amazon as there was not way to easily/properly mount the backup camera on my vehicle.Get this if you need a basic apple carplay device with backup camera functionality that wont break the bank. The jury is still out there on its reliability…will update this review if this device fails…

Best kept secret
I have had this about a month now and I love it!! It makes my car upgraded and I definitely need my gps and phone functions. My car has a GPS system but no touchscreen and I love that now I have a touchscreen to make phone calls play music and to figure out where I’m going. The YouTube videos had me worried but I got this on sale and it was so much nicer than I thought. The screen was nice, it was easy to connect to the CarPlay via Bluetooth and I even got it to play through my car.The things I do not like are:1. The mount is not very adjustable and I wish there were other options.2. The Bluetooth did not work so well for making phone calls or even connecting to my car to have it operate as a Bluetooth speaker.3. The camera is very outdated. This thing looks like it’s eight megapixels or less.4. It was difficult to see how to use the back up camera. The plus -1. I was able to use CarPlay for Waze and it works as a beautiful gps2. Easy to use3. Great value for the price. It’s such a nice value that even if I get one of these with more features, I would still keep this one because it was such a good value.

IS GOOD THING
I BOUGHT THIS WITH CREDIT CARD ON AMAZON.COMI PUT IT IN MY OLD 2000 LINCOLN TOWNCAR. EXECUTIVE TRIM. DON’T BE JEALOUS. IT LEAKS THROUGH THE FLOOR – NO, NOT THE DOOR, NOT THE ROOF, BUT THE FLOOR. I VACUUM THE WATER OUT SOMETIMES, BUT MOSTLY I LEAVE IT THERE TO MOLD.I INSTALL THE CARPLAY STAREO AND TURN IT ON. LET ME TELL YOU, FOR THE PRICE THIS THING IS VERY QUITE GOOD. IRRESPECTIVE OF PRICE, I GIVE MAYBE 4/5 STAR.THE GOOD THINGS: IT IS EASY TO SETUP IN MY 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR EXECUTIVE TRIM (WHITE COLOR) WHICH HAS NO AUXILIARY CORD, NO CD PLAYER, AND ONLY A CASSETTE PLAYER AND AM/FM RADIO. SO, THIS IS A NICE BOOST OR UPGRADE IF YOU WILL. IT CONNECTS AUTOMATICALLY TO MY BLUETOOTH, IT GIVES ME A NICE ANDROID AUTO EXPERIENCE WHILE DRIVING, AND NOW I DON’T HAVE TO LOOK AT MY PHONE IN MY LAP WHILE DRIVING MY (WHITE) 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR EXECUTIVE TRIM VEHICLE. IT’S IN GOOD CONDITION, UNDER 100,000 MILES, BUT NOT FOR LONG HAHA.ALSO GOOD IS IT WORKS AND IT STICKS TO MY DASH SO FAR.WHAT BOUT THE NOT SO GOOD?THE SCREEN IS NOT THE HIGHEST OF QUALITIES. IT HAS A BLUE TINT, SO THE COLOR IS NOT GREAT. IT’S NOT THE SIMPLEST TO ADJUST SCREEN BRIGHTNESS, BUT THERE’S A 2-BUTTON STEP TO DO IT FROM ANDROID AUTO (USING THE RANDOM LITTLE CIRCLE SHORTCUT ON THE SCREEN IN A WEIRD LOCATION). I AM A MASTER OF THIS BY NOW. WHAT ELSE? THE INTERFACE IS DECENT. PERFORMANCE-WISE, IT IS FAIRLY QUICK, NOT SUPER FAST BUT FOR THE PRICE IT IS ACCEPTABLE. THE BRIGHTNESS, THOUGH A BIT ANNOYING TO ADJUST, DOES GET QUITE DIM AND FAIRLY BRIGHT, SO IS ACCEPTABLE. THE INCLUDED REAR-CAM SETUP DOES NOT SEEM TO TALK ABOUT HOW TO INSTALL…I LOOKED IT UP, AND IT IS HARD AND REQUIRES STRIPPING ELECTRICAL WIRES IN MY BEAUTIFUL 2000 (WHITE) LINLCOLN TOWN CAR EXECUTIVE TRIM PERSONAL VEHICLE. I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT TO HER.NOW, LET ME GIVE YOU ALL A BIG TIP, FREE. BECAUSE I HAVE NO CD PLAYER OR AUXILIARY PORT IN MY 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR EXECUTIVE TRIM (COLOR WHITE) VEHICLE, I MUST USE THE FM TRANSMITTER IN THE STEREO TO CONNECT MUSIC AND AUDIO. THIS WORKS OKAY…BUT IN A CITY THERE ARE NOT ANY VERY CONSISTENT STATIONS AND YOU GET STATIC DRIVING AROUND INTERMITTENTLY, SHALL WE SAY. AND THE SOUND QUALITY IS QUITE WEAK IN THIS MODE. I THINK IT’S NOT REALLY THE FAULT OF THE DEVICE BUT OF THE TECHNOLOGY ITSELF. SO, LET ME GIVE YOU BIG TIP MY FRIENDS – I BOUGHT A VERY VERY CHEAP AUXILIARY CORD ENABLED CASSETTE ADAPTER – YOU PLUG THE CASSETTE IN THE CAR CASSETTE PLAYER, YOU PUT THE AUXILIARY CABLE INTO THE PORT ON THE SIDE OF THE STEREO, AND BOOM, YOU HAVE CLEANER, BETTER QUALITY SOUND WITHOUT INTERMITTENT STATIC (A LA FM TRANSMITTER INTERFERENCE). DO IT, IT MAKES THIS STEREO MUCH BETTER FOR USE IN A 2000 LINCOLN TOWN CAR (ANY TRIM LEVEL, I EXPECT).LASTLY, IT TOOK ME DAYS TO REALIZE HOW TO TURN OFF AND ON THE STEREO. YOU SEE, YOU CAN QUICK TAP THE POWER BUTTON BUT IT ONLY TURNS THE SCREEN ON AND OFF. BUT TO TURN THE UNIT OFF ENTIRELY, YOU MUST LONG-PRESS THE POWER BUTTON. THIS IS GOOD. OTHERWISE THE AUTO-CONNECT TO YOUR PHONE’S BLUETOOTH IS QUITE ANNOYING WHEN WALKING NEAR YOUR CAR, AND IT DRAINS THE BATTERY, AND IT DOESN’T SEEM TO AUTO-CONNECT WHEN YOU ACTUALLY WANT IT TO. SO, MY ROUTINE IS SHUT THE CAR OFF, TURN THE UNIT OFF, DO MY STUFF, COME BACK TO CAR, TURN CAR ON, AND PRESS THE POWER BUTTON TO TURN ON. IT AUTO-CONNECTS, I’M HAPPY, IT’S HAPPY, EVERYTHING IS GOOD.PLEASE RESPECT MY REVIEW, I TYPED IT ON AN UNDERWOOD #5 VINTAGE TYPEWRITTER.

Great CarPlay Add-On with Excellent Support!
I am giving this unit a 5-star rating which I rarely do with any product! It’s been a fantastic addition to my truck’s stereo, which already included SiriusXM, so I wasn’t interested in replacing it with an aftermarket stereo. When I found this CarPlay add-on, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but for the price, I decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did—it’s exceeded my expectations! The setup was simple. The unit connected wirelessly to my phone without any issues, and my truck’s stereo kept its Bluetooth connection, so I didn’t lose any functionality. I powered the CarPlay unit through a USB-C cable, so there’s no bulky 12V adapter cluttering my dash. Everything runs smoothly, with Siri voice control and phone calls working seamlessly through my truck’s steering wheel controls. I didn’t install the backup camera, but I can confirm that CarPlay hasn’t interfered with my existing camera. The only very minor critique I have is about the mount. It includes two adhesive strips that work well, but having an option to secure it permanently with screws or predrilled holes would be a nice touch for those who prefer a more stable setup. This is a super small issue, though, and if the mount came with that option, I’d give this an even higher rating if I could! One big highlight is the customer support. After my purchase, the company reached out to ensure I knew about their 2-year warranty and lifetime support. When I contacted them with questions, they responded quickly and were extremely helpful. It’s clear they stand behind their product, and their superior customer service gives me a lot of confidence in this purchase. If you’re looking to upgrade your car stereo with CarPlay, this is the unit to get, and this is the seller you want to work with. It’s an outstanding way to add CarPlay to your existing system without a full replacement, backed by exceptional customer service that truly stands behind their product.

Great Portable Unit!!
Thanks to the design of the dash, our 2010 pilot can’t take a new built in touchscreen. This was a great way to get all the features we wanted, for an affordable price. Also nice that we can easily switch it to our other vehicle if desired. Touchscreen also works as well as any of the stock screens on the newer vehicles!

Very good quality
A wireless CarPlay car stereo is a game-changer for modern driving. The convenience of connecting your iPhone without dealing with cables makes the entire experience more seamless and enjoyable. The interface is user-friendly, mirroring your iPhone apps such as Maps, Music, and Messages right onto the stereo screen, which keeps everything easily accessible while driving. One of the standout features is the hands-free functionality, allowing you to take calls, reply to messages via voice commands, and control music without having to look away from the road. The integration with Siri is also smooth, making navigation, messaging, and voice controls effortless. The sound quality is excellent, and the wireless connection is stable, rarely dropping or lagging. Installation is generally straightforward, and the stereo integrates well with the car’s existing controls. It’s a great investment for anyone who values both safety and convenience while driving. Highly recommended for iPhone users looking to enhance their in-car experience!

The Price and Quality
This product was recommended by a friend. I immediately went to Amazon and purchased the product. I’m extremely happy with this wireless CarPlay that I bought a second one for my other vehicle. A few things that got my attention was the back up camera, the big screen, no connection of a lot of wires, it enables users to access various iPhone features, including navigation, music, messaging, and calls, through the car’s display. I have no regrets.

Glare
It has a glare that makes it very difficult to see the screen. No matter where we moved it, we could not remove the glare on the screen. All other functions work very well.

Nice upgrade
I bought this for my daughters car. As she is a brand new driver we purchased her an older used car. She wasn’t thrilled with the older radio and screen as she didn’t have access to all her apps. The wireless car play was easy to install and gave her car an instant upgrade. Now she can use all her apps and is much happier with her car overall. It syncs perfectly with her iphone. Nice quality and great display.

Capability to add tech(Bluetooth and display of phone GPS) features to an older car model!
It was purchased for a 2010 Buick Lacrosse to be able to sync Bluetooth to the car for easier use while driving. Also, one of the benefits we enjoy is being able to mimic our phone screen on the display screen to see the gps from my phone while driving because the car doesn’t have a display screen nor gps system in it. It was easy to set up and sits perfectly in front of the stock display screen in the car.

Easiest way to AA in your car
I wanted Android Auto in my 2009 Camry Hybrid without replacing the factory navigation. This was the simplest solution. Plug into cigarette lighter, connect to your phone via Bluetooth, and that’s it. Wireless Android Auto in a snap. Plus, I have an auxiliary cable connected from this unit to my car to listen to the music apps on my phone. The included backup camera works well, though it doesn’t have night vision or built-in LEDs. Overall, I highly recommend this product to upgrade your car stereo in about 5 minutes.

Very clear Bluetooth Transmitter
Having this in my older car has really changed my driving experience for the better. It was very easy to install the unit and camera. I was able to do everything within an hour or two. The Bluetooth transmitter is very clear, probably the best transmitter I have ever used. I’m planning to get another unit for my work vehicle.

Great Product for those vehicles that are a little bit older.
This is a great product for those who do not have a touch screen in their vehicle and do a lot of traveling. Easily connects with your phone to allow you to have essential features at your fingertips! I already have a backup camera so I did not need to use the camera included in this kit.
