I use this to plug into my car auxiliary input. My radio does not have Bluetooth. It connected to my Samsung Galaxy S24 phone, identified as J22. Make sure you hit the pair button when your phone requests it. From then on it pairs automatically. Great sound quality and stable signal. Under $20…happy!

Purchased recently for 2 reasons: My 2012 GMC Terrain Bluetooth & Hands Free Calling compatibility completing stopped working & disappeared from my car to where I can’t access either of them as if they never existed! Was SUPER bummed, as I don’t like to hold my phone at all while driving & speaker phone not good enough sound quality.Secondly, I upgraded to Galaxy 23+ and no longer have Aux- soo I lost my Bluetooth, Hands Free Calling and Aux media playing!! So far, I’m shocked at how well this device works for the price!! I used aux cord that came w/ it & plugged into car aux inside center console that runs through a cord opening GMC designed to be accessible and device sits in a little compartment right in front of console. It connected right away from car aux via Bluetooth directly to phone with no connectivity issues so far. FINALLYY have audio playback through my car speakers & media dash control AND hands free calling again!!! So far, no difference in overall sound quality on media or a call, no complaints so far from anyone hearing me, no issues during call or any interference, static or buzzing sounds.Have not had to charge yet as just bought but I have a USB C plug above Aux so will try that first. The device volume/skip and main source buttons don’t matter for me as my phone always on mid volume with ringer turned down low and I’ve always controlled audio volume through car dials or through steering wheel. You dont need to worry about adjusting volume on device itself for that reason unless quicker or based on personal situation. I use my phone to skip/pause & swipe right/left in Spotify app on phone & answer/hangup calls directly on phone. May be diff for me as my phone attaches to a magnetic car mount by steering wheel. It’s neat too if I mute speaker in a call it mutes device mic too.Very curious on all reviews I read to see how long device last as is #1 complaint. Only con for me and multiple people is no auto turn on or auto disconnect when car off & and when you get a call your phone rings on top of device spelling out #, but doesnt bother me, im just glad i even have access to do either things now. I like that a voice tells me im connected without looking for light to Blink. With the amount of reviews and being #1 best seller, it’s worth to try based on the quality you get for such a low price and wayy better than FM transmitters in my opinion.

Does everything I want flawlessly
I am a delivery driver, in and out of my car 50 times a day. This device stays on until you turn it off or it’s disconnected for some minutes. The automatically activated versions of this device take too long to power on and connect so I prefer this. When it is powered on it connects immediately. I have the usb charing cable plugged into the car via the short wire it comes with and it charges automatically when it needs power. The audio quality is excellent, better than I expected. Been using it a few weeks and it’s never lost connection. The play/pause button works, as do the forward snd back buttons which work by default in audible to advance and rewind. Which is exactly what I wanted. When you press any of the buttons they click nicely. The whole unit feels sturdy and well constructed. Honestly shocked at how perfectly this matches my needs and had to leave a glowing review.

Useful product
I recently upgraded my phone and realized it does not have a headphone jack. Because the only way to play music on my older model vehicle was through an aux cord, i thought i was out of luck. I know I could have bought a dongle, but that would have made it impossible to charge my phone and listen to music at the same time. This little device solved all these problems. It is compact, battery life is good, no pairing issues, and no problems with audio clarity. Cheap and functional 👍

Wish it didn’t blink.
Works great. Connects with ease. Auto turns off when not used. USB power cord is long enough it’s not stretching anything out where I have it positioned. I had to roll part of the cord up and tuck it back.My only negative: The flashing blue light around the power button when it’s on is noticeable when driving at night. I tilted it a certain way and it helps. A dimmer and steady blue would be less distracting, why must it blink? I already know it’s on.

Great Battery Life, Easy to Use, and Excellent Sound Quality!
This Bluetooth receiver is incredibly useful and very easy to use. The battery life is impressive, lasting over 20 hours, so I don’t have to recharge it every time I drive. My previous version needed daily charging, which was frustrating. The sound quality is excellent, with clear transmission from my phone, and the Bluetooth range extends beyond the car’s cabin, making it convenient for other passengers to connect as well. I highly recommend this product!

Quick, convenient and works great
My Jeep needs a new CD player but I didn’t have the money so I bought the cord which was constantly breaking up and didn’t give a very strong signal. I also have an android phone and my kids have iphones so we couldn’t use the same cord. I looked online and found this which is much cheaper than the competitors and I’ve been nothing but impressed! The sound quality is wonderful, it pairs easily to your device and it is great for phone calls also. I have not had any issues with static at all and we used it through mountains and areas with no service at all but it stays connected to the phones. It simply plugs into your radio in the auxiliary input, plug it into your car adapter so it stays charged and you’re good to go! You do have to turn it on after your vehicle has been turned off but that’s easy enough. Definitely worth the money!

Incredibly helpful
Easy to set up and pair to my iPhone. Doesn’t look extremely bulky. Sound quality is great. I’m not sure about the battery life, as I keep Bluetooth speakers constantly plugged in to my car outlet to charge, as I can’t stand when they run out. The support items that come with this, such as the aux cord and the charging cables, are sleek and useful.

Pretty decent but volume button could be better
I also have a receiver from a different brand and although I think it shouldn’t be different because all it’s doing is transmitting, but it seems like the sound on this one is better and also a little louder than the other.I like the fact that when you power it on, it does not change the volume level. I haven’t yet heard the low battery notification. I’ll update this review later. On the other one, it starts warning “low battery” at 30% (!) and at full volume (!!!) which is super annoying.The thing I don’t like is having to press and hold to adjust volume. There is absolutely no finesse — the volume slams all the way up, or all the way down, rendering that function effectively useless. Use your device to adjust volume, not this receiver. That is the feature my other receiver does have.

Compact, crisp sound, connects quickly but drops out
Bring older equipment to the present time.. I didn’t get a chance to use it until after my return window closed, but it connects quickly and presents sound well. I am a “retired” DJ and use it to play my Amazon playlists through Alexa to my JBL Pro 15″ powered monitors via a 1/4″ to XLR cable.. Bass hits hard, treble is crisp, and everything sounds like I’ve got the system hooked up in a club. Problem is I’m only about 20 feet away from my Alexa and the feed will drop in volume from time to time (like from volume 8 to 3) and that’s fine if I’m just hanging out in the backyard chilling, but if I have people over with music thumping the volume will drop and everyone will look around like I’m about to make an announcement or something – a bit annoying. And before anyone rolls their eyes, YES it’s fully charged (actually it’s charged AND plugged into a charger)Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good little Bluetooth buddy for my sound system, just a bit quirky. All in all, I’m 85% satisfied with function, and 99% satisfied considering the price.

IT ALWAYS WORKS- CONSISTENTLY!
This is a solid, dependable product and the key word is: CONSISTENT! it works every time I turn it on, I don’t have to fiddle with it unplug it plug it back in, it just plain works. This is the third one I’ve had, for my 2013 Fiat 500 Pop’s Bluetooth, by different vendors and this is the only one that has lasted more than two months, and the only one that hasn’t tested my patience. I love that when I get in the car and turn it on it tells me “POWER ON – CONNECTED“ which is a nice feature none of the others had. With the others I might already be driving before I figure out the darn Bluetooth isn’t connected and I’d have to pull over never with this product.. A+!

Bluetooth headphone amplifier/receiver
I’ve gotten to the point of missing the detailed sound stage when wearing ear buds. And I work outside often, and the earbuds don’t have the battery life. So, I invested in IEM’s and got this to run them. Battery life is incredible! And it can be plugged in for infinite battery life. I used two part epoxy to affix a small clip onto it so I could hook it into my pocket and it’s working out perfectly. In the gym, working outside, welding, or just watching vids on the computer, this is amazing. With a set of mid range IEM’s, I’m back to feeling like an audiophile.My only complaint is that the ‘voice’ of the device is LOUD! Not sure how to adjust it, but it’s not too terrible. I’m a retired Combat Veteran with 4 deployments, so my hearing isn’t fantastic by any means. I can take calls and really hear well. And the mic is very clear according to the people I have talked to when using this.So, I’d give it a solid 4.5/5 stars, deducting half a star for the loud voice of the device.For 20 bucks, I’ll buy another one for backup. Excellent kit for the money.

It works very well!
We have a 1960 Grundig console radio that we love. However, we wanted to stream app based audio to it because FM doesn’t come in so great.We found phono DIN-5 port on the back, bought a DIN-5 to 3.5mm audio cable to complete this project. We plugged everything together, our J22 had 90% power on arrival (yay!!), held down the play / pause button for 5 seconds until we saw red / blue flashing, paired to an iPhone and in seconds we heard great sounding audio!!Thanks for making such a cool / nerdy product.

I bought this adapter in 2022 and am still using it on a daily basis. My husband and I both connect to it which is awesome, but the range is a little to nice. My biggest complaint is that we have Bluetooth wars over connecting when both of us are near the device. It does have an auto off, but if I forget to shut it off when I exit the vehicle and am on the phone, my phone will reconnect to the device a few times until I am out of reach or it shuts off. It vocally lets you know when the battery is low and while it’s no Bose system, the sound quality with a 2011 GMC is impressive for such an affordable little device.

Long battery
This little device has never failed me, it connects quickly, without hassle every single time. Some Bluetooth devices like this have trouble staying connected, or getting connected when you turn them on. Not this one. You turn it on, and it’s like it was waiting for you. The battery life is no joke either. Sometimes I forget that it needs to be charged. But when the time comes that you do have to charge it, you don’t have to worry about not being able to listen to music until it has a full charge. You can use it while it’s charging. This thing is the pinnacle of wireless Bluetooth technology in every regard. Absolutely no regrets with this purchase.

Great headphone adapter except for the pause button.
I use this product to connect a traditional set of wired headphones to bluetooth.Battery life is excellent. I can work a 10 hour shift, use it all day and not run out of battery. The battery gauge reported by bluetooth is somewhat accurate.Bluetooth range is excellent. I can put my phone on a charger and walk 20-30 feet away without any dropouts.Audio quality, good but the bass response is a little bit less.Size and weight. Bigger an heavier than an old MPOW streambot.The Bad…. The pause button is protruding and not recesssed. Put this item in your pocket and the button will inadvertently press on its own, very frequently. I went so far as to tape a 3d printed plastic ring to serve as button guard. A light squeeze of the case can still trigger a pause even though the pause button was never pressed.Great value, despite this flaw.

i’ve used my older one for about 2 years now
Like i mentioned in the headline, I’ve recently only started noticing the maximum battery life drop. But it still lets me get around 8 hours before each recharge so its still usable. After owning it for 2 years, I think that is a solid device overall. I just wanted a new one because its cheap and its shopping season.

Great battery life and output
While i ordered this for use in my truck as i dont want to replace to head unit yet this little bluetooth adapter has a great battery life and good sound quality, while having no connection issues it will connect instantly which for me was a huge benefit as it makes it so i can use my wired earbuds or headphones while im working and all i need to do is unlug from the aux port in my truck and plugin my headphones and were off without the need to switch any settings. In short this is a good quality product with great battery life, ease of use, versatility, great compatability, clarity while staying a small and easilly managable size. Definitely worth a buy at a pretty good price.

Amazing for cars w/o bluetooth!
I normally don’t write reviews, but I just had to sing the praises of this little device! To preface all of my comments: I drive a 2011 Chevy Impala that is well used, and I have driven about 10k miles since I bought it two years ago, using this device almost every time I am in the car.1. ConnectionThis automatically connects to my phone every time I turn it on since I paired it. Sometimes even if my bluetooth isn’t on yet! The pairing process was super easy, considering I can barely remember doing it. It connects to other devices easily if I turn my bluetooth off, but I hardly ever have a need to do that. One con is that I have accidentally left it in my car during extreme cold or heat (I live in the Northeast so we get both) and it will have some issues with dropping connection for like ten minutes before returning to normal. I don’t consider this an issue since any electronic will have issues after sitting in a freezing or boiling car for hours.2. MusicThis plays music through my speakers better than an actual AUX cord, which always has some staticky background. This plays my music seamlessly as if my car had bluetooth originally. Even when I’m maxxing out my volume, lol!3. Battery lifeI believe I only really charge it like once or twice a month, depending on how much I drive. Now, I don’t drive a lot compared to others so this may vary, but I would say I get a good 6-8 hours of use before I charge it. This has remained consistent over two years of use. I also keep the charger in my car and just plug it in when it tells me to. It will work while plugged in as well! I’ve done that a lot.4. Maps and musicI’ve frequently had music/a podcast playing while I have directions going on my phone as well. It will play the audio just how your phone would. Music is softened to hear any directions, and podcasts are fully paused until the directions are done being read. Again, I’ve never had any issues with that in my use of it for road trips and longer drives to college and such.Apologies for the lengthy review but after two years this thing is still working amazing and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to make their older car bluetooth-capable!!!

Me and my wife hook one of our phones up to it through Bluetooth plug it in and we can listen to our phones I love it it’s very simple to use they send directions with the package and message you through Amazon the directions if you love you stock head unit stereo and wanna listen to your music on bluetooth this is what you want I’m sure there’s more things you can use it for very happy with my purchase !

Excellent option
Excellent option to add Bluetooth to your vehicle and the little hard aux fitting is a nice touch. I like that it automatically powers down after a couple minutes of you being out of range. Hold the button for 2 seconds and it’s right back connected. I returned a different one that was a major pain to connect.

Died after 3 years, buying it again!
Even though I know you’re not supposed to leave battery devices plugged in all the time, that’s what I did with this thing. I left it plugged in to charge almost 100% of the time. After 3 years of use, the battery went out and wouldn’t turn back on. This was definitely used error and I will be re-buying the same model again because I love this thing!

I have a 2010 ford focus and was unable to connect my android phone (samsung A54) via bluetooth to the stereo cause its a OEM radio. Got this and was able to plug via the aux port and easily connected to it via the bluetooth on my phone. Sound it clear with no static or feedback. The size is small. Not sure yet with battery life. I did charge it once i got it so have to wait and see how long between charges.

First, there are several reviews which are just wrong, and unfortunately since Amazon doesn’t allow replies anymore, those reviews sit there, reporting incorrect information.First item of interest is the connection. This unit has a female 1/8″ stereo headphone jack. Not entirely obvious from the pictures. It comes with 2 adapters, both male-male. The first is a hard connect as shown in the current picture (July 2024). It’s about 1″ long, all metal.The other is a standard flexible cord, about 2 feet long.Second item is control: There is a +/- button on the side. If you’re listening to a playlist, a quick press skips to the next or previous track, while a long press controls volume.Some people are complaining that a call interrupts their music… this has nothing to do with the bluetooth device, it’s YOUR PHONE, which determines how that is handled.AUTO POWER OFF: Yes, IT HAS AUTO POWER OFF. If it’s not connected to a bluetooth device for 5 minutes, it powers off. Now, you may have to turn off BT on your phone to make that happen, because it has a reported 33′ range. I mean, how else would you expect a device like this to power off? It has no separate power source, the only way it knows you’re done listening is when BT is no longer connectedIn short, RTFM.Cons:It doesn’t come with any kind of clip to mount to a visor or anything else. I’ll probably 3d print something to hold it, but need to figure out where it’s going first so it’s not in the way.

Great Value easy to set up

A MUST HAVE!!
This little device came ready to use right out of the box. I was able to pair it to my prepaid Samsung A9 very easily. I use it to commute to work and back 4 days a week, and for my weekly walmart trip. I use it on average of 1.5hrs a day.It came out of the box with a 90% charge, and Ive been using it for about 3 weeks now, and It still has a 40% charge, I have not charged it! Amazing!!!I highly recommend
