Good watch; crummy battery
Good watch for the price, but a battery that needs to be charged daily. Even iPhones have decent batteries now. Still trying to figure out how manage all the things it does. It will be a 5 star value when they get a decent battery life.

Excellent watch for the price
I had a second generation Apple Watch (for 8 years) and it fell and broke beyond repair. Since I was not willing to pay what an actual Apple Watch costs these days, my son found this one for me and it is brand new.I paired it with my IPhone and it has even more features than the one I previously owned. I am extremely happy and satisfied with it. Highly recommended for those who want an Apple Watch but don’t want to spend as much.( Bought new bands and case for protection)

More time on charger than using it
It’s understandable that the battery is small and the watch does a lot but I’ve had it a few days and it spends more time on the charger (about 3 hours to charge from 20-30% to 100%) than I spend using it. Made sure to turn the brightness down as far as I can and remove anything that might be draining it, but it did not help. I might use the watch to tell time, start a walk timer, or hit the X to not answer a call, very little use. Clearly it’s working its little heart out in the background b/c the battery barely lasts a day. The time it takes to recharge just seems excessive. It has so many more features than I am capable of using. It’s fun and gadgety but my old FB which lasted years and did everything I needed it to do with only having to charge it once a week for about 3 hours was probably the better option for me.I could kick myself for not doing more research because there are other generations that have a better charging quality for less money. I purchased this during Amazon‘s big sale days in October and thought it was a good price & chose it b/c it was smaller but in retrospect, I should’ve gone with a different generation.Really just disappointed but hoping to see some benefit from keeping it.

Not bad for price, good to get on discount
I used to think that Apple watches were a bit excessive and would not serve much use. I take those words back, no watch is better than this, especially for the price. GPS, Calls, Fitness, and lots of pleasant features. Better than getting a cheap plated or silver watch.

Great quality for the price
My Apple Watch series 9 was recently stolen and I didn’t want to spend all the money on a new series 10 so I went with the SE 2. It’s great. I can barely tell the difference minus some functionality that I didn’t even use on my series 9 anyway. Well worth the money. It looks nearly identical and functions just as good as my series 9 did.

I got the watch for the heart rate monitor and to get notifications becuz I don’t always keep my phone on me. Everything works great. The only critique I have is that the battery only lasts for about 2 days, so I have to remember to charge it at night.

Fantastic Watch
First off I would recommend this watch. Kind of wish I would have gone with a bigger face.Glad it is not any smaller than it is.Set up was super easy. Just make sure that you have upgraded to iOS 18.0.1.I suspect that you will like what they have done to the phone with this update.I am sure that I have yet to figure every thing out.I also recommend getting a protective case for it also as I have read that the face scratches easily.I like that there are numerous watch faces to choose from. When this watch runs out of juice I will be looking for the next SE watch that is available for purchase.

Good but not best for general fitness info
Cannot show steps, sending it back and getting a new Fitbit. You cannot show steps, only rings. But I do not like that. Call it old school, but for a decade I have been able to see simple step numbers, and Apple refuses to put them on the watch face. 3rd party apps are not as good as standard watch face. If you want the calling features go for Apple SE but if you want more in-depth fitness info on the home screen go with Fitbit or Garmin…sorry, just the way it is.

Big upgrade
I originally purchased the apple watch 3 because it was apple was the only operating system that supported Dexcom. As a Type 1 diabetic I wanted the freedom to not have to have my phone attached to me during workouts to check my blood sugar. I wanted to have the ease of just looking at my watch and to have alerts delivered that way as well. My version 3 apple watch became too old to do any updates with the Dexcom app and was no longer working. I received the Apple Watch SE about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it. Not only does the Dexcom app work, but the newer iOS is more intuitive and has many more perks that the version 3 did not have. I would highly recommend! I paid $169 during the prime day deal which was cheaper than the apple military discount that I was about to purchase. Happy shopping!

Love the watch!
My second watch… had a first gen & it finally died. I decided to go with this one because it is smaller display than some of the newer ones. The display is so much clearer than my 1st gen watch was, and I love the size. However, band was too small and I didn’t really like the plastic; so I purchased another.

Beautiful watch!
Such a beautiful watch! Very easy set up & iPhone pairing as well as assembly. So excited to use! My only grievance is it came with a charging cord but not the plug in box and it requires a special usb c instead of a standard plug in.

limited operation
Bought the Apple SE watch because it listed it had fall detection and I needed to have that for my wife in case she fell when I was not there. Turned out that the watch has to be in range of your cell phone (about 15 feet) so you need to carry your iphone with you for that to work. Additionally, that phone has to have ios 18.1 or later capability to set up your phone/watch in the first place. Make sure your iphone has that capability before you buy the watch.

Unable to get Cell Service on Watch
Didn’t realize this watch is not able to setup cell service. Meaning no data plan. Meaning you always have to have your phone with you. Which is fine I guess because it will save me $20/month. Otherwise, I really love this watch. I used to be a loyal Fitbit customer. But my 3rd one stopped working and the app has less and less features every year. But I digress. The iWatch has helped me start caring about exercise and my steps again. And it seamlessly works with your iPhone. It’s so nice being able to take calls and see notifications. Watch is great just a little disappointed about the cell service situation because I would have liked to go on walks without my phone. But it’s a good value so it’s worth the sacrifice.

charge before setting up watch.
The watch was a surprise gift to my wife. She loved the color but was unsure of the band. I also ordered a velcro band but will discuss it later. Once it was charged, operator instructions were not clear as well as so smal , we had to use a magnifying glass. We then went to the computer to get help. Wife loves the watch and is learning how to use the various programs.

Doesn’t hold a battery charge
I’m delighted with my Apple Watch. I got it after I finally traded in my wonderful but very old IPhone 8 for an exceptional IPhone 15 pro max. The functions are exceptional and I use it a lot. One thing, the battery doesn’t last very long. It needs a charge before the end of each day. It’s fine but I’m a bit disappointed that Apple can’t figure that out after producing the watch for such a long time. Gee.

Stylish and Reliable Everyday Smartwatch
The SE is a great choice if you want the core features of a smartwatch without overpaying for extras. The Silver Aluminium Case paired with the Denim Sport Band creates a sleek, casual look that works for almost any occasion. It feels lightweight on my wrist and is comfortable enough to wear all day and night. What stands out most is how well it balances essential functions with affordability. It tracks my fitness activities, like steps, calories burned, and workouts, with impressive accuracy. The heart rate monitor is responsive, and I’ve found it useful for both workouts and day-to-day health insights. The sleep tracking feature is simple yet effective, giving me an overview of how well I’ve rested without overwhelming me with data. The Crash Detection feature is a reassuring addition, especially for someone who frequently drives or bikes. While I haven’t had to use it (thankfully), it’s nice to know that the watch can contact emergency services if needed. The Retina display is crisp and easy to read, even in bright sunlight, and navigating through the interface is smooth and intuitive. While it doesn’t have some advanced features like an always-on display or ECG monitoring, it handles the basics flawlessly. The battery life lasts a full day with regular use, which works fine for my routine, though I do wish it lasted longer when tracking extended workouts or sleep.Satisfaction with Packaging: It arrived in pristine condition with well-organized packaging. Setting it up was quick and painless with clear instructions.Likelihood of Recommending: I’d highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a stylish and functional smartwatch that covers the essentials without breaking the bank. It’s especially great for casual fitness enthusiasts or those new to smartwatches.Price Reasonableness: The price feels fair for what you get. It offers a great mix of functionality and design at a more accessible price than higher-end models.

Love it!
I have all Apple products, IPad, IPhone and now that Fitbit is going by the wayside I decided to try the Apple Watch.i didn’t need the $500 version . For my purposes, exercising, walking, monitoring ,y heart this one fits the bill. I have a small wrist so I bought he smaller size face. Looks and fits great. Works like a charm. Just like most Apple products he battery doesn’t last long….But I guess I am used to that. My Fitbit lasted for 3 days before charging. Not the case with this watch. 18 ish hours or so and you need to charge. Apparently Apple doesn’t need to fix that problem! If that is going to bother you don’t buy this watch. If not, it is a great reasonably priced sport watch.

Apple Watch SE 2: A Stylish and Affordable Smartwatch
I bought the Apple Watch SE 2 with a starlight white band and case during Prime Day and couldn’t be happier. It’s a great value for the price, especially if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem. Pairing it with my iPhone was a breeze. The watch is both stylish and functional, perfect for workouts or a night out. I debated between the LTE and Wi-Fi only models, but ultimately decided that Wi-Fi was sufficient. Even when I go for a jog, I’m usually back to my phone within a short time. If you’re looking for a reliable and affordable smartwatch, I highly recommend the Apple Watch SE 2.

Great Transition from Fitbit to Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen)
Switching from a Fitbit to the Apple Watch has been a mostly positive experience. Here’s a breakdown:Pros:+ Easy Pairing: Connects smoothly with iPhone, allowing for quick replies to messages and convenient Apple Pay transactions.+ Health Monitoring: Tracks daily activity, heart rate, and sleep effectively.+ Simple Interface: True to Apple’s reputation, it’s straightforward and user-friendly.Cons:- Battery Life: Needs daily charging, whereas my Fitbit lasted several days per charge.- Compatibility: Works only with iOS devices, unlike Fitbit’s support for both iOS and Android.- Price: Pricier than similar Fitbit models, though the quality and features reflect this.Comparison with Fitbit:Fitness Tracking: Both are accurate, but Fitbit offers more detailed sleep analysis and longer battery life.Smart Features: Apple Watch has a wider range of apps and better iPhone integration. However, I miss Fitbit’s “Smart Wake” feature.Design: Apple Watch feels more premium, while Fitbit devices are generally lighter and more fitness-oriented.Overall, the Apple Watch SE provides a good mix of health tracking and smart features, making it a solid upgrade for iPhone users moving from Fitbit.

Stylish and Functional Everyday Smartwatch
The Apple Watch SE is an excellent choice for those who want a balance of functionality and style. The silver aluminum case paired with the denim sport band looks sleek and modern, making it suitable for both workouts and everyday wear. The watch feels lightweight and comfortable on my wrist, even during long periods.Functionality-wise, the Watch SE delivers everything I need for fitness and health tracking. The fitness tracker is accurate and intuitive, and I love how it monitors my workouts, steps, and calorie burn with ease. The sleep tracker is another highlight, offering detailed insights into my sleep patterns that help me adjust my routines for better rest. Features like crash detection and heart rate monitoring add a reassuring level of safety and health awareness. The Retina display is bright and easy to read, even in direct sunlight, and navigating through the interface is smooth and responsive. Battery life is decent—it easily lasts a full day with regular use, although you’ll likely need to charge it nightly if you’re also using it for sleep tracking. The watch integrates seamlessly with my iPhone, allowing me to receive notifications, texts, and calls directly on my wrist. The customization options for watch faces and apps are another plus, letting me personalize it to suit my preferences.Satisfaction with Packaging: The packaging was clean and well-organized, with the watch and band securely placed to avoid any damage.Likelihood of Recommending: I’d highly recommend this smartwatch to anyone looking for a stylish and feature-packed wearable without spending too much.Price Reasonableness: The price feels reasonable for what you’re getting. It’s a solid investment for its features, build quality, and seamless integration with Apple’s ecosystem.

Brilliantly designed Apple Watch SE
I waiting a long time to take the plunge! But I’m super impressed by the sleep feature and the fitness tracking ~ they’re both incredibly designed and engineered and are now a part of my life.I also wanted access to the watch’s 24/7 emergency feature, so that was a selling point. If you love your iPhone like I love mine 😉 and use only Apple computers, I think you’ll find the Apple Watch is stellar addition to Apple products.I have an older iPhone SE that perfectly meets my needs, so FYI, it’s necessary to download the latest iOS 18 or you won’t be able to use/sync this Apple Watch: I also needed to order USB-C adapters because my SE has a lightning cable, unlike newer phones. With the adapter in-hand, it was easy to follow the steps to sync the iPhone SE to the Apple Watch SE.I’m still refining how I use the Apple watch along with my iPhone. I’ll be taking a tutorial next week at the Apple Store to learn all that I can. Meantime, I’m sensing that the watch is helping to motivate me to move even more each day, and that’s a real plus!

Good budget smartwatch if you need apple
So, I’ve been using the Apple Watch SE for a couple of months now, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the plus side, I love how it looks—sleek, lightweight, and the display is super crisp. It’s great for tracking workouts, steps, and even sleep (when I remember to wear it to bed). And honestly, having quick notifications on my wrist is super convenient, especially when I’m trying to unplug a bit from my phone. That said, there are a few things that bug me. First, the battery life is… okay-ish. I usually have to charge it every day and a half, which isn’t a huge deal, but I kind of wish it lasted longer. Also, it doesn’t have all the fancy features of the more expensive models, like the blood oxygen sensor or the always-on display, which I didn’t think I’d miss but kind of do now.Overall, it’s a solid smartwatch if you’re not looking for all the bells and whistles. For the price, it gets the job done, but if you’re expecting it to be packed with features like the higher-end Apple Watches, you might feel a bit underwhelmed.

Perfect
Just got this SE to replace my Series 6 watch that was starting to show its age, and honestly this is perfect for me because I use it mostly for fitness tracking, time, notifications, and weather conditions at a glance. I don’t need anything the Series 9 has that this doesn’t! I swapped out the sport band this came with for my previous stainless steel magnetic band, and so far it’s kind of a seamless transition, except this new watch has faster response; I don’t even notice it’s not always on, because the face is displayed as soon as I move my arm.

Great watch, requires semi new device.
I got this for my wife as an anniversary gift. She was needing a new fitness tracker/watch and since she has an iPhone I figured an Apple Watch would be a great upgrade from her old fitness tracker. The watch was packaged very well and neatly. The band it came with is of good quality and easy to adjust. The watch screen is responsive and easy to read. When setting up the watch we were going back and forth with updates and problems because this watch requires firmware 18.xx and we have iPhone 13. So to get it to work we had to manually update the phone to that firmware. Nearly sent it back for that reason. Once it’s setup the amount functions and features is a bit overwhelming for a first time user and will take some time to figure all of it out. So far the battery life is pretty bad compared to past smart watches. Has to charged daily otherwise it will die halfway through the second day of use. It is a great looking watch though.
