i love it but here is my thoughts on it
yes its clear and get the job done if you can get it on sale like black friday or cyber monday then yes get it but its not worth 50 buck cause most smart tv have built in apps …now if you have ah older tv thats not smart then yes get this..real quick its fast processor and alot of storage and the control is very comfortable and fast and feels good in hand …and you can tweak the firestick to get 3rd party apps overall this will get 5/5 i love it and will keep it..thanks for reading

FANTASTIC!!!
My Samsung TV is 5 years old, and still produces great quality, but pretty slow when loading anything stream so I figured I’d give Firestick a try. Caught it on sale for about $22 and I am glad I did. Setup up was easy, and it also auto connected to my soundbar making control all in one device! I was on fiber Wifi 5, but since the Firestick supports Wifi 6 and 6E, I was able to get a upgrade to Wifi 6 through my provider, and it worked flawlessly with both. I do own Xbox, and have yet to try out the gaming feature. All in All, its been a great buy. Thanks for an amazing product!

Superb! I have a brilliant move!
I had an old LED TV with an outdated system that I could no longer use. Initially, I planned to purchase a new TV during the Black Friday sale. However, unsure about spending hundreds of dollars and disposing of the old TV, I researched the Firestick 4K, which came at a reasonable price.After installing and setting it up, I was thrilled to find that I could now fully utilize my old TV.I saved hundreds of dollars!

Still prefer the Roku..
I have always been a Roku user and will continue on with that brand instead of the Amazon Fire TV. I bought this solely for use with the iFIT app since I was having issues with it working on the Roku. I am giving this a 4 star only because I do feel as if the device works great and it was nice for it to act as the actual remote with volume controls, as I don’t have that with the roku remote. Due to having issues with the iFIT app on this device, I’m going to end up selling it since it’s not working out. There was apparently an update to either the stick itself or the app and now I can’t even hear the trainer talk because the music continues to play, even though I continuously say to turn off the music. I can only remove and re-add apps so many times before I decide it’s not worth it (with the Amazon Fire TV stick).

Supports Dolby Atmos TrueHD passthrough using Plex
I’m glad to report that this second generation (2023) Fire Stick 4k device supports passthrough of Dolby Atmos TrueHD audio to your TrueHD/Atmos capable receiver using Plex. It does not down-convert to lossy, you get the full TrueHD lossless signal passed to the receiver. So this is probably the most economical solution on the market if you are looking to obtain this functionality from a smart TV device. You do not need the 4k MAX model to do this (and is probably overkill for most people) and you certainly don’t need to spend $200 on an nVidia Shield TV Pro to achieve this which, for the longest time, was the only way to get this capability beyond hooking up a PC to your sound system.Unfortunately, for movie titles that use DTS-HD or DTS:X, as of the time of this review, Plex does not support passthrough of these codecs; it only passes the lossy DTS 5.1 core. However, there are reports it works with other apps such as Kodi, so it appears to be an app issue and not a device issue. Hopefully this feature will get added with future software updates.

Great product
Transformed an older smart TV that wasn’t at all user friendly into an amazing TV. My older Samsung was great when I had cable but not so great for streaming. I turned it on and the home screen just had a couple app icons. When Id try to go to Netflix or Prime, I had to wait and come back later as the TV would give me a “please try back later, preparing TV…” And I was always getting a weak or no signal message. It was super annoying. I bought a small fire TV for another room and love the ease of use and all of options for watching, so I thought this might make my bigger TV the same. It did; like magic, it transformed my annoying TV into an enjoyable TV. The only this I would caution is that when you click on a movie or show, the first option you land on (that you would normally click to watch) defaults to “purchase” if the item is available to purchase through prime. I inadvertently purchased a show I can get through another streaming service for free because I assumed the default would be play free to me. It was not. You have to scroll over to “more ways to watch” to view other places. That was a bit annoying and a VERY easy mistake to make it not paying attention.It’s still an awesome product, though.

Love my Firestick
I been using fire sticks for years and always upgrade them when the new versions are available. While browsing Amazon one day for video audio equipment a suggestion displayed for the new 4k with wifi 6 that is ai powered, plus it was on a flash sale so I decided to buy it.Once it arrived I set it up very quickly, now using a bar code to scan which makes things lot easier. I have noticed that it works a lot faster. Also the new remote control is very nice and more durable then the older versions. So far I am very happy with it.

It really is so simple and a big help. The streaming picture is a great improvement. Save all your passwords before switching to a new fire stick.

Super easy for Seniors that are not Techie’s!
If “Piece of Cake” means easy to set up, this was a 3 layered “Cake” with your favorite frosting easy!The most difficult was getting the parts out of the packaging and inserting the batteries in the remote.I already have Alexa in my home so this synced up with my echo dot for voice control. “Alexa, turn the TV on/off” or my wife’s favorite “Alexa, find Judy Judy” This appears to be one of the best cord cutting-satellite TV subscription disconnect choices we made. 4K makes for a beautiful picture.

Great Value!
Easy to hook-up and it offers more features than my earlier version. You should also note that Amazon has a trade in policy for older units that aren’t quite up to speed. I found this out after I ordered the new one but there was still a credit applied to my account. I haven’t had cable in quite some time and with the Firestick & Prime membership, I do not miss it at all and save a considerable amount of money each month.

Easy setup and functions amazingly
So I bought a smart tv but it was extremely sluggish and not very smart 😂 it would switch HDMI inputs unprompted and randomly disconnect from the Wi-Fi so I went ahead and ordered this. Needless to say it outperforms the tv flawlessly, the set up was quick and easy and it’s literally plug and play. It updated itself when I turned everything on and from there it was smooth sailing. I like that it’s literally just a HDMI plug in and you don’t need any external devices that need to be mounted where the remote can send a signal. The tv is 4k output and so is the stick so the display is absolutely beautiful I tested it extensively 😂 my one complaint is the UI, it’s extremely over complicatedI literally only use this for like 3-4 apps but upon boot up, there’s like 50 apps shoved in my face 😂Other than that this is an amazing product at a very reasonable price !

Works great once set up but dont lose the remote!
This device worked very well when I had a cable outage. It does not work with the Xfinity universal remote though, and you have to sign in again when you set it up or are powering it back on, to all your subscription services like Netflix or Hulu, either via a QR code or with a code emailed to you. This device recharges via a mini-USB port, you can use a cable to connect the mini-usb to your usb port or USB plug.There are no manual controls, as expected, so everything is done via Alexa or via the buttons on your remote. The remote is smallish, about the size of a cell phone, and so is a bit easy to temporarily misplace under a cozy blanket that was on your sofa. (I always label the back of my remotes and wireless phones so I can recognize them if they get flipped button side down).

Very qucik setup and great value for a projector setup
Having a small $80 projector setup in my room had me using an Xbox for media streaming and while its suitable, having a dedicated streaming device such as this fire stick has made it quite well-roundedSetup under 5 minutes including plugging in the darn thing, great adaptability with its included cablesI would think it would be able to connect to almost any HDMI port, it works flawless with my splitter as well!Overall great buy, very versatile

Very good. many channels
For far too long our society has been pressured by local cable companies to adapt to constant price gouging. This fire stick will give you plenty of channel to pick from.. Easy to install, however you might want to have a person who has installed them before on Smart TV’s to walk you thru it. It works on most all TV’s and there are good reasons to buy from Amazon and the most important reason is that Amazon makes the stick and once it is installed othere companies can not install or down load their channels from their company cuz amazon will block them.

“My Netflix and Prime Video stopped streaming on my 2016 Samsung Smart TV. I think it’s too old for their upgraded system. The TV still works, and I didn’t want to throw it away, so I decided to buy a Fire Stick instead of buying a new TV. So far, it works great! It’s very user-friendly, and now I can watch all the streaming channels. And the best part I’ve saved a lot of money!”

Makes my projector a dynamo entertainment machine.
I got this fire stick to control my Wimius projector. It’s plug in and play functionality is amazing. I have some issues with my WiFi network that aren’t allowing me to access the fire sticks full capabilities. (Note: I have experienced problems setting up additional speakers to the system). So right now I just have a 3rd gen echo show hooked up to the projector/stick that functions as the main speaker. I have additional Echo’s that I have been unable to sync up with the fire stick and projector but have been unable too. I am certain that it is a problem with my WiFi network and not with Amazon’s fire stick because at my old house I was able to group all my speakers easily.The picture quality of the fire stick through my projector is outstanding. I really feel like I’m in a movie theater now and I am just in my bedroom. Once I fix the sound networking problem it will be my own personal theater.If you have the space and lifestyle for it you get so much more bang for your buck with a projector over purchasing a TV. I have a 120” screen with crystal clear 4K and with prime day sales I picked up my projector for $550.But I can definitely say if you get a projector you are going to want a Fire Stick for it. It takes your machine to a whole new level.

Much better than the old ones
I’ve been using my old Firestick for many years and it was very slow. I couldn’t watch Amazon Prime videos and I thought it was my internet service. I recently bought a new one just to see if it would improve. The difference is amazing. Lightning fast and I can watch Prime or any of the free movie channels perfectly. Definitely recommend you upgrade to a new one if yours is a few years old.

We have five of these fire sticks and haven’t had any issues. The first one I purchased was the cheapest one after two years it burnt out and quit working. So this is a replacement same as our other four that we have and no issues with them after two and a half years now

Super easy to setup right out of the box
Our “cable company” is switching to wireless capability, and instead of renting their device monthly, I decided to purchase two Amazon Fire Sticks. They were really easy to set up and I was streaming content within minutes. The picture was excellent, even better than before with cable. Plus there is a lot of free content to view in addition to our carrier, so it is really the best of all worlds for media.

NO LONGER A DISAPPOINTMENT
At first., I thought this fire stick was great. It worked fine. But here I am less than 4 months later and a few days ago the volume control button stopped working. Sometimes I can mute the TV; sometimes I can’t. Starting today, it will no longer turn the TV on or off. What will fail next? The battery is not the problem. Shouldn’t these devices work more than a few months? UPDATE: After I posted my 2 star review, I received an email from an Amazon representative, who had tried to call me as well. The person provided me with directions to get my fire stick working again. Everything is fine now and I’ll keep the directions just in case I need to make an update to it in the future. Thank you, Amazon!

Love this
I have never had an Amazon prime stick until this one. The Internet could be going out and this stick still works. It is beyond me but I’ve never had better streaming than with the fire stick. Super easy to set up. The remote can be on my phone or with the actual remote. I’m able to control the volume on the tv without having to change any settings in the tv. Overall, great purchase.

No more buffering or freezing.
The old Firestick I had got to the point it was unusable, freezing and locking up. This new firestick fixed all those issues and was pretty easy to move everything from the old firestick to the new one. I like that the new remote can turn the tv on and off.

Just impressed
Been dealing with WebOS on my LG tv for 3yrs now and enough is enough. Fire TV stick is 🔥 i love this thing. I can even view my blink camera’s on the big screen now, so cool. Update your firestick
I’ve had one since 2019. This was a replacement. It is easy to install. I’m a 70 yr old woman so had to call to register and par it. Tech had me up and going in less than 15 minutes. Two thumbs up.

El único defecto que pude encontrarle es que no tiene puerto USB, pero con un adaptador puede conectarse una memoria hasta 128 GB, no lee disco duros, la conexión a internet por wi-fi o por cable ethernet se puede hacer con un adaptador de esa manera funciona bastante estable y sin cortes es uno de los mejores aparatitos para ver tv incluso si el televisor es Smart, conviene comprar y adaptar uno de estos pues fluye mucho más rápido que la propia aplicación del televisor, no importa la marca

Streaming Nirvana… if You Can Ignore the Ads
The Fire TV Stick 4K is everything I never knew I needed—endless movies, shows, and 4K goodness all at my fingertips. But just when I’m about to settle in and achieve peak couch-potato status, BAM!—an army of ads hits me on the home screen, like they’re mocking my attempts to escape reality.Seriously, I came here to binge-watch, not to get sold on products I’ll never buy. It’s like inviting a friend over for a movie marathon, only for them to spend the first 20 minutes pitching you insurance.Despite the forced ads, the streaming quality is great, and the sheer amount of content is enough to keep me glued to my TV for days. So, if you can put up with the relentless barrage of commercial interruptions, it’s a solid choice for your streaming arsenal!

Vast Improvement to my pior firestick
My old firestick, even with great internet, was slow and things regularly did not play smoothly. I saw this had more space and handled faster internet so I decided to try it. It is night and day. The program page is responsive and the playback so far has been flawless. I don’t have 4K but figured at some point I may get one. Great news, it works great with my old Panasonic Plasma and and my Denon receiver. So happy.

What can be said that hasn’t already? This makes for a perfect experience on your TV. I have had no issues. It is great for traveling and having near the same experience in a hotel as at home. It has all the apps I need–though I *want* GeForce Now, that would be nice to support in the future.

Cool Accessory
If you have a hi def or higher def 4k TV with limited smart abilities and it’s in need of more receptive Bluetooth options, or if you want to take your media entertainment profile on the go to places that provide a wireless signal you can log in to, then Firestick is the way to go. It also stores apps and profiles, has good latency, and is easy to navigate. Pretty cool.

Vague Setup Instructions
We have been using Amazon Fire Tv Sticks for years. We have 2 tv’s,. but only have been upgrading one. Fire TV quit working on the tv that we had not upgraded so we bought this new one for $25. This price is reasonable. The tv is over 5 years old. Initially, we could not get the remote to pair. The instructions say to unplug the Fire TV stick. Okay, from what? The tv hdmi port? The electrical receptacle? The power cord from the tv stick? The TV stick from the extension? We tried ’em all and finally it paired and began updating. If you have any paid subscriptions, you will have to add them and log in to each one, initially. I had to do a manual search to find Paramount+. Some things did carryover from the old stick to the new one. We did not have to log into our wifi network though. We are still fans of Amazon Fire TV.

Works well

Within minutes I’m in love
This is my first fire stick. It took a few minutes to set up because I forgot to sync it to my account. But it is amazing I love it anlready and I literally just started to use it. I love that I can use my phone to control it. I set up an organized all my apps. There is a slight delay if you go crazy with the buttons. But it is so minute that it doesn’t matter. I bought two more in the 4K max as gifts.

Excelente empaque pero inconveniente con instalación/configuración
Me agradó mucho, vino en un excelente empaque y con todos sus cableados. Sin embargo, Cuando la conecté a la tv usando el adaptador HDMI, costo mucho que la tv lo reconociera y tuve que mover un poco el cable HMDI detrás de la tv para que la TV lo reconociera y mostraba pantalla verde titilando luego la imagen normal del dispositivo. ¿Será normal eso? Costó un poco instalarlo.

Easy to Use
Have had Amazon Fire Stick TV for many years with no updating of any kind. My grandson was helping me with trying to get a streaming sports channel and told me I had to get a new stick and remote to be able to handle that. They were on sale so I bought them. Installed it myself and after playing around with it for several minutes was able to navigate it. I do watch a lot on Prime even though they now put commercials in their content.

Lot of Entertainment.So many Options!
I have the Amazon fire stick and the Roku. I like them both. I just got the fire stick last week. The thing I like most about it is being able to add apps that aren’t available on the play store or the Amazon store. You can add space after buying an additional accessories. You can even play all of the popular video games with luna video game service. They sell a Bluetooth gaming remote on the Amazon store. The remote let’s you use your voice to search. The best part is you can turn it on, connect to it all by just asking your girl Alexa, to do so.

USB cord is short
Overall, the Fire Stick is great. It was a bit of adjustment from my previous Fire TV unit as the display is different. The biggest issue was the length of the cord from the Fire Stick to the outlet. It’s very short and it took a bit to wrangle it from one end of the TV to the outlet. I am buying a 10-ft cord with the expectation that will solve the problem.

Better than the competition
The Fire TV Stick works better than it’s competitors. When I first got into streaming my TV I bought a couple different brands, now all of my TVs have the Amazon Fire Stick. They work better, they are more reliable, easier to set up – Just buy this one.

nice update from my much older fire stick
I decided to replace my old fire stick. This new one is faster but I’m not as fond of the interface. Also, it stopped working after about two weeks – I couldn’t get ANYTHING from it – but I called customer service and they fixed what they called a “glitch.” It works, and I’m happy.
